Family owned locale in Horta neighborhood of Barcelona. Visited the place after recommendation from a friend, as we were staying in the area. The service was impeccable. Atended by the owner, who brought plates of the meats to the table prior to cooking for out choosing. All very fresh local shellfish, fish and meats. These vary based on availability. On both occasions we had dry aged beef and veal t bone from Granada, tasty and tender, fantastic cuts. Also had octopus cooked to perfection w/ olive oil and paprika, and shellfish, clean and tasted soo fresh! Deserts are all home made which made choosing very difficult, so we ordered all three . The cheescake light and airy unlike anything Ive had before. Also a coconut bread pudding and a three layer chocolate mousse tart unbelievable. Will return as it feels like coming home. read more
