I hired this shop to repaint my truck, including repairing rust areas before painting…read more The truck was dropped off on August 24. I was out of town for a month and received periodic photos of sanding and bodywork. When I returned on September 21, I was told the truck was not finished and would need another week. On September 29, I was told the truck was "ready." When I arrived, it was still covered in sanding residue and clearly unfinished. I was told it only needed to be washed and that remaining issues would be corrected. I paid approximately $3,600 in good faith based on that representation. After washing the vehicle, multiple defects were visible: * Overspray on windows * Uneven paint coverage * Inconsistent clear coat * Dirt and debris in the paint * Orange peel texture I gave the shop another full week to correct the work. The truck was returned to me a second time, and the job was still incomplete. There were buffing burn marks, streaks in the clear coat, uneven application, and areas with insufficient paint coverage. Additionally, rust repair areas that were supposed to be corrected began bubbling under the new paint, indicating improper surface preparation. I obtained an independent estimate from another body shop, and they quoted approximately $3,000 to repair the defects. During this process, I also experienced unprofessional personal comments that made me uncomfortable, which further diminished my trust in the situation. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue directly, I disputed the charge through my credit card company. Following review of documentation and evidence, the credit card company ruled in my favor and refunded the full amount. I am sharing this review so others can make an informed decision. My experience involved extended delays, incomplete work, and repeated opportunities that did not result in a properly finished job.

He was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to explain what needed to be done in a way that actually made sense. The work was completed efficiently and correctly, and my car runs great now. It's clear Keegan takes pride in his work and cares about doing things the right way. I highly recommend asking for Keegan if you need reliable, honest mechanical service.

I booked this mobile mechanic through Yelp for a diagnostic after already having my Jeep scanned at…read moreAutoZone and receiving error codes (injector, spark plugs, and gaskets). I explained this upfront and still chose to proceed with a diagnostic to confirm the issue. I was quoted a flat $65 diagnostic fee by the owner with no mention of pricing ranges or tiers. I agreed and scheduled the service. The technician arrived about 30 minutes later than scheduled, which I was informed of ahead of time. During a brief text exchange with the owner, I expressed concern due to a prior negative experience with another company. The response I received made the interaction feel slightly tense, including being told I could "find someone else" if needed. When the technician arrived, I explained the issues and the codes I already had. During the inspection, the technician began deeper inspection work on the vehicle. I was not clearly informed beforehand that more extensive disassembly or work beyond a basic diagnostic could result in additional charges. Afterward, I was told the diagnostic would actually be $200 due to the depth of the inspection, despite originally being quoted $65. After discussing this, I was ultimately charged $75. I expressed concern that the pricing change was not communicated upfront. The owner later acknowledged that he should have communicated a pricing range and that this was a mistake on his part. I requested a copy of the diagnostic findings I was being charged for. The response indicated there was no formal report, but pictures and a summary were provided. Communication afterward included frustration from the business regarding the reduced payment, despite the pricing change being due to lack of prior disclosure. While I do believe the technician performed the inspection thoroughly and provided useful findings, the core issue was the lack of clear communication around pricing structure, scope of work, and potential cost changes before work beyond a basic diagnostic began. I would recommend future customers get very clear written confirmation of what is included in the diagnostic fee, whether deeper inspection can change pricing, and what documentation will be provided before service begins.
