Maybe like a 10 minute drive from the original spot but I made it anyway. I wanted to try their barbacoa (or cabeza de res) and they gave me a sample which was delicious. Therefore, I got myself 1 barbacoa taco as well as my usual chicken tostada (both come with a side of sliced cucumbers). My mom wanted to try a variety so she got the chicken quesadilla--a tad bit salty, along with a beef tostada, chicken Gordita and French fries. We were bummed they ran out of Horchata so we got the Agua de Jamaica instead which was great for such a sunny day. Our food was done within 20 minutes and they have tables/chairs right by the food truck if you want to eat there. Overall, great customer service and even better food quality! Check them out at their new location, located next to a funeral home :)

My food came a little messy but that's probably due to the delivery and not the restaurant. As soon as I started eating, I knew I was in for a treat. The rice and beans, while simple, had a good amount of flavor. It was the person items for in between bites of taco. Now the taco, oh my. I don't think I've had tacos with queso on them before, but I wish all tacos had that now. The queso was so fresh and gave a nice salty and chewiness to the taco. The steak tacos themselves were excellent. The meat was charred so well that you would get intense flavor and crunch on the outside of the meat, and then a warm rush of spices as soon as you got to the inside. The only thing unusual is the tortillas themselves. These are very soft and wet as if they are undercooked. But it works so well with everything!

Their empanadas have always been fantastic. Both the chicken and beef usually look and taste amazing. Unfortunately, today was different. The empanadas appeared rushed and were noticeably smaller than what we're used to. I called to express my concern and was offered a replacement order. When I picked it up, the empanadas were exactly the same as before. When I pointed this out, I was told they're "trying new ways to make them." The problem is that they're much smaller now and not worth the price being charged. I ended up leaving disappointed. Please fix your empanadas--they were incredible before, but today they definitely missed the mark.

This is a breakfast burrito review…read more... As someone who moved from Colorado, I've been on the hunt for a great burrito in Palm Beach county. It's been tough to find. I found Rey Tacos through Yelp with high hopes . Overall my experience at Rey Tacos was good. Solid service, fresh food, decent establishment. The breakfast burrito was decent but was very lacking in seasoning. The tortilla was super yummy and had all the ingredients needed but maybe some seasoning or green chili or chorizo would have made it great. I also think if the ingredients were mixed more would have helped in addition to more seasoning. Definitely potential to be great. Horchata was good but IMO way too sweet. Was like drinking straight sugar. I'll come back to try some other menu items.

I initially called over the phone in an attempt to place a pick-up order, however, they could only take my order in Spanish, so I opted for ordering through DoorDash instead. I ordered the three-taco special (meat and cheese), which came with my choice of protein. I went with two steak tacos and one birria taco, topped with cilantro and onions. The wait wasn't excessive, but it was just long enough for me to know my tacos were being made fresh. Both the steak and Birria tacos were flavorful and delicious. All the tacos were packed with meat and toppings, so portion size was super filling. I look forward to trying a few other menu options, especially their sides.
