El Txoko Alaves is best when you come in a group. They serve excellent Spanish tapas that you won't want to skip and in order to try as many as possible, I recommend coming with friends and family to get a little taste of everything. They serve wild boar (jabalí) which is delicious as well as suckling pig (cochinillo, seriously yum!) and boquerones, a dish from the south of Spain which is basically fresh anchovies (recommended by the waiter). They have a great bar with a comfortable and almost mysterious atmosphere that makes you want to start drinking their excellent sangria as soon as you get seated. Tip: They don't only serve tapas but also main dishes which include their menu del dia.
