The back patio area at Casaluz is dreamlike and absolutely gorgeous: after a long day of walking in the hot Santiago sun, a few pisco sours in the garden was nothing short of pure bliss.
The cocktails are extraordinary and made with obvious understanding and expertise; even the most basic and common drink here is superb.
The food at Casaluz is current, and they put a lot of thought into presentation. Ingredients are fresh and diverse, and their salads are especially enticing. Because they offer tapas, you can sample a wide range of flavors, but the croquetas de jamon Ibérico were my favorite dish.
An absolute gem that delivers on service, food, drinks, and especially ambiance. A must if you're in Santiago!
