The person who took our order was kind and patient. I may make a bold statement that this is the best asian restaurant we have had on our trip to cancun. Salmon onigiri - huge piece. its a simple dish and so we didnt expect much, but they didnt disappoint. Well balanced, salmon not too salty and rice is good. Tsukemen - noodles were cooked just right. Broth on its own was very flavorful. Portions are smaller than i am used to, but it made sense for the price. Egg was jammy and marinated with flavor. It was interesting to see sprouts in it but i'll take it. Paitan Ramen - noodles were perfectly cooked. Good umami, not too salty. Balaned. When I asked the waiter where my meal was, he simply said, "it is not working." I then asked a manager for help, but he disappeared and never returned. The bill came with no apology, no explanation, no discount, and nothing complimentary. It was an awkward and uncomfortable way to end what was supposed to be a special evening. Mistakes happen, but what really bothered me was that there was no effort to acknowledge the problem or make it right. I do not recommend.
