We just got in before happy hour ended and it made our trip even better. We shared a salad and each ordered happy hour tacos. The flan we ordered for dessert was amazing. And I don't normally even like flan. It was the best I've ever had. Great place to try out!

Mexican Jarrito sodas are $5 each, a glass of Modelo beer is $7 and a small orange juice is $6. Prices, to us, are high. Yes, it is in California, but Mexican dishes are not that expensive to make. Eli was our server and he did a good job with us. The Conchinita Pibil Tacos plate ($21) is a Yucatán Peninsula dish of deeply flavorful pulled pork, marinated in citrus and achiote (those tiny red seeds common in the Americas) paste. Served with pickled onions on corn tortillas. They were OK. Huevos Rancheros ($19) were, as expected, fried eggs over corn tortillas and slathered with green and red sauces. Pretty good. Most expensive was the five Street Taco Plate ($48), an outrageous price for five street tacos. Of course, you could choose what protein you wanted in those five tacos, but... We will be back as son's family like it very much. We...not so much.

I wish I had more words to describe my experience here!…read more I've never been to this area before so I asked a friend who lives nearby for recommendations. Los Moles was one of the top recs and I can definitely see why. We found street parking a couple blocks away and enjoyed the weather walking to the restaurant; the parking meter was a few bucks for maximum two hours, not bad! The exterior of the restaurant is beautiful, music was playing, and the interior was just as beautiful and cozy. They offer the menu or a buffet style. The service was phenomenal right off the bat and continued throughout our meal. I ordered the Carne Asada Platillo Casero and my boyfriend got the Burrito Mojado with Carnitas. For drinks, we got a Tamarind Margarita and a Modelo Especial. Both of us were overwhelmed with how good our orders were - we finished every last bite on our plates! My plate included beans, rice, cotija cheese, nopales, onions, carne asada, and guacamole, and they gave me a steaming basket of two fresh made tortillas. It was the perfect amount of food and every last ingredient was enjoyable on its own, so combined it was even better. I kept repeating, "Wow, this is so good!" throughout the meal. I wish I had asked for an extra order of the nopales and onions to go because I enjoyed it so much. My margarita was probably the best margarita I've had, hands down. I don't usually drink so I couldn't finish the whole glass, but I easily could've had two if they were nonalcoholic! I highly recommend coming here and enjoying a meal. I'm so glad my friend told me about this place, I wouldn't even mind making the drive again to try more of the menu :)

We have been coming here off & on for about 10 years since we moved to Marin and I'm so glad we remembered this place as we were walking back from the porchfest in gerstle park. I had a shredded chicken burrito and took half of it home to my teen son. The flavors were all there and just incredibly tasty and not too salty like a lot of Mexican food can be. It was one of the best burritos I ever had and having lived in the city for 15 years before here we ate a lot of great Mexican food in the mission. My husband had the steak plate and loved it, with refried beans and salad. We had the sangria and I was nervous about it because I don't like very sweet drinks, but it was only mildly sweet and very refreshing after a long day at porch fest. I heard someone saying there was a new chef and that he was a bit overwhelmed by the unexpected crowd of the porchfest, but I must say he sure handled it well as did the entire friendly welcoming team of staff. My husband actually is there right now the next day, eating lunch on the patio and getting in order to go for our son (the same chicken burrito)! If you are craving Mexican food in Central MARIN, I highly recommend this gem - very family, friendly vibe of staff caring and upbeat. Food is delicious and the restaurant is very relaxing and spotless clean.

This is NOT some typical below par Mexican restaurant where all dishes taste the same, like is common at strip malls across the country. This is fresh and everything is delicious! Service has been friendly & fast , and drinks have always been delicious. My favorite time to go is during their Happy Hour, as they have various affordable cocktail options as well as small bites. Their taquitos are my personal favorite, are so good, and come with a nice green salsa and sour cream. My favorite drink has to be the Tamarindo margarita, which I always get with a Chamoy rim. I also love the environment and aesthetic of this establishment, as the low light & modern look, make this place look elegant & classy. Will definitely be returning with my boyfriend and friends for a quick drink or two.

This spot seems more of a tequila bar that serves food rather than a restaurant setting. For food, we ordered the fish tacos, shrimp ceviche and taquitos. Their fish tacos were good! That green salsa (avocado/chiles) that comes with it was very spicy. Shrimp ceviche on the other hand was whole pieces of cooked shrimp halved lengthwise with cut up avocado and cucumber. I have had better. The taquitos were okay, the exterior tortillas were a bit overcooked. Was impressed with the selection of tequilas however. Would recommend the anejo flight. I'm not a huge tequila expert, but discovered that I like El Tesoro Anejo, very smooth! Service was attentive and our server went out of his way to explain the difference between the various flights. I would come back to try the tequila again for sure!

I've never eaten at this restaurant and I was over in the area. It looks good but I asked bacich questions and the guy was nice at first until I took longer than 60 seconds to you know ask three questions and then I guess I was kind of putting him out I want to know what the cost was for quesadilla with meat. It comes with guacamole, which is cool but I had another practical question places make their guacamole different so I'm put a bunch of salsa, pico de gallo and onions and stuff and some places make guacamole more simple and bacich which is my preference. I don't like onions and you know I don't like it overcomplicated with tomatoes and onions and stuff and you're like hey I just want to mainly taste the flavor of guacamole and then this actually matters I asked do they do like a single half Totino fold the tortilla in half when they're cooking it or is it like two folds like a trifold it almost likes like a flat burrito and yeah, I really don't like the double fold quesadilla concept it just doesn't look like a quesadilla But after 60 seconds and you know me asking these very basic questions and a third of the time he wasn't understanding my well spoken English task my questions and he's like unprofessional. I was taking too much time. I guess he's like he's like OK. Do you wanna order bro like I have you know a line in front of me but it was rude to hurry some off off if you're not gonna order then I don't have time for you, but if you do order then I'll make time and take your order. That's just unprofessional and bad service already. It's a red flag. Here's an idea and I mean this sincerely create a website your successful established business at your Customer. See what your prices are. I'm having to rely on an old Yelp review with two-year-old pictures on a person's review and that that's lame. So if you don't want people to call and take 60 seconds to ask bacich questions who have never eaten there why don't you somehow create something that allows someone to see your menu and prices you're a restaurant this should be automatic And if you don't want to do that, then expect people to call and ask questions and don't have a poor attitude about this. It's just bad Customer Service and it's free to be kind. It's free to be informative like you're not valuing the customers taking time out of their life and they're choosing to call you and maybe spend money at your restaurant and maybe they become a regular customer but instead you wanna have a poor attitude so just lost my business because there's too many restaurants that are friendly and professional and value your perspective patronage. Bummer too. I'm in the mood for quesadilla but I guess I'll go over to La Hacienda... they give you free chips without the attitude this gentleman when I said I said do you charge for chips and I didn't understand the simple question so I had to repeat it differently. I said yeah do you give free chips? He's like he's like yeah if you buy food then you know we'll give you chips said it like it was something special. You're not the norm again. I would know this as a as a potential new customer if you had a menu of any Kind. Oh, and if somebody from the restaurant wants to challenge this review, feel blessed that I'm giving it a three star review not a one do you wanna capture new customers and increase your revenue? I shouldn't have to call to get basic information about food, but if someone does call value their potential business and that's how you earned their business and then you make it have a good product and friendly customer service. There's a good chance that you'll keep them as customers because they had a great experience. What do I know? I just been go to a restaurant as a customer for like 40 years,
