The food is ok and the service is good the waiters really try to stay on top of things. But the restaurant owners are so so cheap they charge you to use a credit card, the charge is 5%. If you run a restaurant that is just the cost of doing business. If you want my business you need to change your policy, and I hope other people realize a decent restaurant does not charge you to pay with a credit card. read more

I never thought I would need to write a negative review about electric Rincon, until today that is. Their food is top notch, and until today Their service was too. For the price of 2 breakfast tacos, they blew me off. To save gas money and provide their employee's wages, I'd been paying $85 for 20 breakfast tacos at a time. Yum, no more yummy. On the 22nd I paid $85 for 20 tacos + $10 tip. On Monday and Tuesday I discovered that 2 of my tacos was just tortillas. 18 breakfast tacos and 2 orders of flour tortillas. So today I stopped by and ordered the same as a week ago and told them how I had been shorted. But because I didn't call Monday and Tuesday, they denied any compensation for thr shortage. So, since my diminutive orders are of no concern for them, they won't miss any more of my money and I spend it where it'll be appreciated. Food is still good, but loyalty and service SUCKS. Walked in around 11:45 am and noticed the place was somewhat small. Most tables were full but we were able to find one. The waitress came over fairly quickly. She brought our drinks, chips & salsa. She took our order and brought the food within 15 minutes. The food was delicious. Will be recommending this place. read more

I love coming here to eat. The food has never once disappointed me. The service is spot on as well. My fave are the beans, so flavorful and the fact that they add chicharrones... ahhhh chef's kiss! Also, a fave are the grilled pork chops, nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection. I was a little disappointed that the potatoes with my breakfast were al dente but I took them home and made me a hash lol. This is the only spot I've been to where you can order tacos to go and the brown bag is lined inside! That means no grease dripping and no ripped bags... genius! Great go to for casual neighborhood fare. We've been here twice so far and the food has been thumbs up for flavor, quantity, price, and service. Seat yourself anywhere available and I think we've had the same server both times we've been here. Chips and salsas are complimentary. The red salsa is ok, but the green is where the flavor and spice kick are at. Love, love, love the green salsa. This time around ordered the fajita chicken taco salad without cheese and sour cream. At first sight, it looked small, but ended up being just right. The bottom of the salad held all the yummy seasoned chicken, beans, etc. Everyone else enjoyed their entrees- quesadillas were large and contained plentiful amount of cheese and beef, puffy tacos lived up to its name, and the enchiladas/beef stew were delicious. First time there today! I walked in and ordered take out. The inside was nice, and they had the heater going on this nice cold day. I ordered a carne guisada with cheese, barbacoa, couple bean and cheese, bean and chorizo, and built a norteno (beef fajita, bean, guac, and white cheese) for my wife. When I got home, I got an extra bean and chorizo taco! The taste of the tacos was pretty good! They were smaller portions than I expected, especially the barbacoa. Part of the flour tortilla seemed stale, and my wife said the beef fajita was a bit dry. I did read over the menu while waiting, and was pleased that they offer a lb of barbacoa for $13.99! Next visit, I'll dine in and see how the other plates and service are like. read more

The food here is good. Enjoyed the chips and salsa and fajitas (my go to). The reason for the less stars is because where we sat smelled so much like cleaner it was hard to enjoy the taste of the food. Our server was nice and we didn't feel neglected. read more

Unfortunately, the owners of this restaurant suffered a terrible fire at their original location but have rebounded at this new location with their terrific Tex-Mex and Mexican dishes. My husband and I try to eat here a couple of times a month but, during peak dining times you may not be able to find an open table. I watched many people share their tables family style with other patrons and unfortunately watched people leave because their were no seats. This location is much smaller than the original spot that caught fire. Breakfast is so good! My favorite is the El Patron plate and my lunch favorite are the mini taquitos . Hopefully they will receive their liquor license soon and we will be able to enjoy an amazing margarita. read more

The food here is excellent! It's delicious, barbacoa is juicy and they have a great deals! 13.99 for 1 lb of barbacoa with 6 tortillas and all the dressings. The servers always get my order right and I love how they all watch out for each other's tables. The tables are very close together so I don't enjoy that but it's always busy so that's why it feels tight together. read more

We go to El Rincon every Friday for take out i order there super nacho just about every time last Friday went and picked up order got home paid for extra nacho chips and sliced avocado ended up with table chips and hot sauce and guacamole that i did not want. Called talked to lady that answered the phone and explained my situation she asked for my phone number and said they would take care of it next visit. One week later on 9/20/2024 Girl Named Anna was very rude to my wife when she went in and asked about credit asked who i talked to i did not get a name expecting the issue to be handled. I called store and got ahold of the Very Special girl named ANNA AND WAS TOLD THERE IS NO MANAGER EXCEPT A COUPLE OF COWORKERS BUT NEVER OFFERED ONE OF THEM TO SPEAK TO ME ABOUT SITUATION. Was eating here a lot at this location. The old location BURNED a down. You have to keep the kitchen CLEAN to avoid a grease fire. The new location is being rebuilt. But here's the thing. CLean the kitchen please. I only go to this place now when someone else wants to go. The last several times my puffy taco order was so nasty I could not eat it. The Grease literally ran out of the taco and the shell being fried was not drained property so it was a nasty greasy mess. This place is hit or miss and I'm wondering if I'm eating there when the bad cook is cooking. The rice is good but the refried beans are way to runny. They need to be refried beans not soup. So my review is mixed because I want to eat there just don't want to pay for another greasy puffy taco and soupy beans. I hope they realize that you have to clean the kitchen until it is spotless and I doubt they are even cleaning it or when would the orginal building have caught on fire. read more

Service was good and the people were nice but the food not so good the eggs and the meat tacos really bland no flavor..

First off the presentation sucks. After taking my order and repeating it multiple times which was cheese enchiladas with just the queso dip on top they gave me red sauce. My boyfriend then points it out and tells them again and repeats to them NO red sauce!!!!!! They still did it and the second time it looks worse!!! Really bad customer service and they need to change the call handler bc obviously she is not getting it!! And the taco was completely soggy read more
