Pupusas...I forgot to say that the coleslaw they are here, and all Central American places is amazing...and I detest American coleslaw....
    Ivan J.

Every once in a blue moon, co workers get it right. This was such a treat. I'm a huge fan of Central American food. I had the carne asada Salvadorena, and a jalapeno con queso/pollo con queso pupusas. I truly believe that Central American and Non Mexican(ie cuban) restaurants seem to take pride in the asada they serve. It's always perfectly seasoned and cooked. It's usually some form of flank/skirt steak. I can't count how many tex mex places I've been that serve you either the wrong cut of meat, over cooked meat , or an under seasoned mess. This one was spectacular. I would come again just for that. It came with some of the best white rice I've had in a while. I'm bringing my rice freak midget to try it next time. I know he would approve. The only gripes I have are trivial. It's just a personal preference for me, I've just never been a big fan of refried beans. They were not very good to boot either. I got excited when they said they had home made corn tortillas. Hear me out, they were great, but they were waaaaayyy too thick. I could've made 4/5 tortillas from those two. When they are that thick, they feel more like a Gordita. Too much masa was a bad thing in this instance. The pupusas were good. Well the jalapeño and cheese one was outstanding. The chicken one was just a hot mess. I was conflicted on that one. One bite I liked it, the next I was confused. I thought it had too much going on. All the sauces are amazing, and have the kick I love! Definitely coming back to try more!

We had an amazing New Year's Eve dinner at this cozy Cuban restaurant! Even without reservations, we were seated quickly and enjoyed the best **masitas de puerco con congris** and tacos. The flavors were authentic and reminded us of home in Miami, where good Cuban food sets a high bar. Excellent food, warm ambiance, and great service--highly recommend!

This place is very clean and well decorated. It's a little small for a very large group. Tables are for two people but they put them together to accommodate a small party. More than 10 persons, you may need to call ahead and possibly reserve. My steak came cold so I told the waiter of it and took my plate to heat the meat. The pupusas were that bad in taste but I personally think, the venue has a high price for each.

FIRST TIME VISIT! Mind you, I've visited their food truck many times and was so glad they were just down the street! I love their pupusas WITH TONS OF CURTIDO and salsa, platanos con crema, and those tamales wrapped in banana leaves. That's some good eats! The worker at the drive thru window recognized me as a customer of their food truck and cheerfully greeted me. Apparently, the family has sold their food truck business about a month ago and has moved into this brand new space (on the far westside) on Potranco near the 211... now just up the street! Oh, joy of joys! They also have Mexican food, so today I ordered a plate of carne asada mini tacos for the hubby, 2 pupusas de revuelta (beans, chicharrones and cheese) and a plate of fried plantains (platanos) with crema, beans and a hunk of what I'm guessing to be Salvadoran cheese for yours truly. No, I wasn't messing around today. Beware of the orange colored habanero salsa, IT'S HOT! The curtido (pickled slaw) is as delicious as I remember from the food truck and the passion fruit drink is AMAZING. I did not care for the Salvadoran cheese, probably an acquired taste. Hey, I get it. I'm Hawaiian and I love poi but don't always recommend it to non-locals for the same reason. Everything else was tasty and addressed my cravings with a quickness... although I may need more this weekend.

    Pupusa and combo plate

I thought this was a Cuban restaurant however there was no Cuban food on the menu. It was South American. They were out of tamales. Settled on pupusas and a combo plate. It was ok. Everything kind of tasted the same and much of the combo plate was fried. Even the chicken jalapeño pupusa was pretty bland. Not bad just underwhelming. Service was decent however there was a language issue and what I wanted to order got lost in translation. I realized that after ordering but before food arrived so it was on me to have corrected. I chose not to.

Great place to get Central American food. They specialize in El Salvadorian and Nicaraguan food. I am a Nicaraguan and loved the fried cheese, gallo pinto, and pork plate. It tasted just like my grandmothers cooking. The pupusas were great too, can't wait to go back and try the Nacatamales on the weekend. If you want to try something different to drink try the Salvadorian horchata. It taste like a combination of horchata and chocolate milk.

Saw this place as we were driving by and we decided to check it out .... Lo and behold, Today was their opening day!! Everything was very good! The friendly service, the delicious food, and the prices are very reasonable. If you're looking for authentic Salvadoran, Mexican, Nicaraguan, or Honduran food ... Highly recommend you try them out!!

This place recently opened near our neighborhood so we decided to try it. We were intrigued by the variety of dishes from Latin America, they have menu options from Mexico, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Honduras. The place is small but it is decorated very traditionally. One thing I would say is that after ordering it took forever to get our food! The staff seemed aware of this so they were very attentive while we waited, but once we did get the food we realized one of the dishes was missing. I plan to come back and try it again since the dishes we ordered were delicious. I think the pupusas were my favorite!

The food was absolutely delicious !!!! The fresh corn tortillas will have me coming back regularly.

Their pupusas are cheap and delicious and usually keep good if you don't finish them in one sitting. The reason for the loss of a star is the service. The lady handling to go orders has no customer service skills. She stands there, and stares at you while you make your order. She doesn't try to engage and seems like she hates being there. The phones take a while to answer or they don't answer at all. The hours are also very short, with days closing at 7pm. The interior could be clean, but overall is decent enough and doesn't instill any ideas of being dirty. Some restaurants around this area are much less well kept than here! The little mini-market has plenty of little Salvadorean and Honduran treats! They have services to send money back home, a staple you'd see in any Central American store. Overall a great little restaurant, but it could be a little nicer and more welcoming, but delicious food makes up for it.

Unfortunately the food fell short and the service didn't meet the mark. The most surprising thing was how unseasoned the food was. The pork chop was basically the only item that popped with some flavor from seasoning. Everything tastes as if it was just cooked or boiled with in plain water with no seasoning or spices added. The pupusas were extremely bland. The service missed the mark as well. Staff seemed as if they really didn't want you to be there. And there was absolutely no urgency for anything. Dishes came out periodically with having to ask for an update on them. It seems like it could be a lively place but as I looked around most of the patrons were just waiting around the same for their food. Maybe the kitchen staff was having a bad day. Either way I was disappointed because I really had been looking forward to coming to this place but not sure if I'd be back anytime soon. Also the parking situation was a bit hectic.

While a torta is what people recommended, my mind immediately went to tacos when I saw that option. As you all probably know with me, I'm a sucker for any dish that has the word taco in it. Pivoting to those, I decided on a trio of the Taco Chilango (w/ carnitas), the pastor taco, and the taco gringa. These concoctions are out of this world with the combination of ingredients, tenderness and flavors of the meats, and the consistency of the warm tortilla. The crema on top of these is the perfect final touch. After devouring these, I can only imagine what the torta tastes like! Definitely next time! You'll find this spot when you hear some smooth mexican music blaring combined with the smell of chorizo/carnitas/tortillas emulating from this small shack. We had nachos and Al pastor tacos. Everything was fantastic! Neat little joint. Neat little outdoor area. I felt the price was right. My only "negative": location. This place is right by the airport...so although my wife and I had beautiful weather and temperatures to sit outside, airliners made for seriously loud distractions.
