Finally! Delicious Dominican food! Finally a Hispanic location without its plates having to do with avocados or tortillas. This is an original style NY type of Dominican restaurant with a la carte style eats. They also have mangu(national Dominican breakfast) and Morir Sonando! Huge amount of food! There can be a language barrier if you don't speak Spanish. But the food is amazing. It's flavored authentically. Its almost cafeteria style where they have all the food Infront of you and you go down the line and tell them what you want. I had the 1 meat 2 side dishes for $12-15. It can be a bit warm in there. This place opened up October 1st 2020. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Most of the menu items are cooked and ready for serving for a quick lunch stop. This is hardy Dominican and Honduran food. Delicious and well presented. They also have many items they can make on demand. I ordered two plates from the precooked selections. One was of yellow rice with guandules (morro), pernil and side of fresh maduros (fried yellow plantains). Second plate had white rice, stewed pinto beans, and chicharron de pollo. We also ordered a cheeseburger with fries for one of my kids. All of the food was well prepared and well seasoned. We're looking forward to trying more dishes in the future and maybe some deserts too. I think I saw tres leche cake slices and I saw they make morir-sonando a delicious creamy orange drink from DR. read more

They nailed all of it! live in Fort Worth and I drive all 30-35 minutes with a big smile on my face knowing what I'm getting myself into. I also am not Latino or speak Spanish but I feel welcome here all the time. Im brown and most ppl look at me weird when I don't speak Spanish to them. These guys they don't care lol they will try hard to communicate with you, even with just pointing your finger or simply switching with someone that speaks English to help you. This place used to be so good. The quality of the food, the amount of food you would be served, and the customer service has all gone down big time since opening. Now you walk in and the first thing you notice is all the flies everywhere. The customer service sucks...I asked for a plate to go and after one spoon of rice the lady is like thats it?...huh?!??? Before you would get a to go plate and the amount of food was enough for two people or two days and they would just serve you not ask if that was it. Major disappointment. It was like 100 degrees inside their establishment. The weather outside and inside the establishment was the same temperature. The weather outside was 100 degrees today. Their AC clearly doesn't work. First: They have some wacky serving system that makes no damn sense and creates hostility. Also, I found the soup nazzi! She had blonde hair and she's got a major attitude. The slip of a $10 tip will make her smile and allow regulars to cut in line though (I learned quickly). I watched her argue with patrons who had waited in line and telling them her other patrons in the back of the line could go first! Second: I've never eaten there before today and my rookie ass didn't know they don't serve the Mangu con huevo with Salami y queso. So when I ordered it, the Soup Nazzi said no and moved on to the next person in line. Third: Prior to the Soup Nazzi telling me "no soup for you!" with her gaze and cold shoulder, the clerk who started helping me walked off with a plate in her hand after asking me if my order was for here or To-Go. She didn't say a word o me and I watched her stomp off!. The only thing I enjoyed was the fried bananas. Don't eat there unless you want to be treated like a criminal for wanting to order their food. Luckily a couple of customers in the line saw what was happening and helped me order my food but noticed they didn't make eye contact with the soup Nazzi as if they were afraid of her. I felt like I was in the Twilight version of the Seinfeld episode with the soup Nazzi! Never again!!! That'll teach me to try something new!!!
