Kept leaving messages no one called back or anything. They act like they don't exist due to covid.

I went into the office to get the required application paperwork. I asked if I could bring the paperwork back later as I had my dog in the car and it was hot. The Manager snapped that NO DOGs were allowed in the Clubhouse or Office. (Even though she had HER dog in the office with her that was barking incessantly.) When I returned the paperwork, I had signed in one spot I should not have signed and when she saw it, she literally yelled at me for signing there. She didn't like the way I had my paperwork put together and told me to come back after I fixed everything. Um... Nope. I went across the road to El Rancho Mobile Home Park. After looking at a few places in El Rancho, I made an offer and am so happy I decided to look across the road! I'm reading current reviews and see that there may be a new manager named Betty. I hope everyone is happy with her. Anything is better than that ol' Battle Ax that used to be the Manager. She was MEAN!

Dr. Kirk is the first and only Optometrist I have visited in my adult life. I literally hadn't had…read moremy eyes checked since I was in school; in fact the last time I had my vision checked may have been when they came to our elementary school to do a check on every student. Anyways, I wasn't having any vision problems, but I thought it would be a good idea to get a check up so I Googled the nearest optometrist and found myself at Almond Blossom Optometry a few days later. My first impression when I walked in was great. I had been extremely busy at work so I arrived a few minutes late for my appointment and I was on a business call as I walked through the front door. The woman at the front desk waited patiently for me to finish my call and greeted me with a warm welcome when I got off the phone. This was unexpected because I had been rather rude, showing up late and talking on the phone. I know I would not have greeted myself with a smile! Anyways I quickly filled out some new patient forms and was off to see the doctor in a matter of minutes. Meeting Dr. Kirk was refreshing. He shook my hand firmly and even apologized for his weak grip because he had been chopping wood the previous day. A doctor chopping wood??? I live in the Bay Area and I'll bet you can count on one hand the number of doctors there who have even held an ax. So we were off to a great start. He ran me through a number of vision tests including one with a little flashing light and a trigger that you push with your left or right hand depending on which eye sees the pin hole flash of light. That was my favorite exam because it almost felt like I was playing a video game. The entire time he was performing the exam Dr. Kirk and I were engaged in conversation. He took an active interest in my work, we talked about where we grew up, and he told me the story about how he and his family ended up in Ripon. I was amazed at how much I had in common with a man who had a half-dozen degrees and certificates hanging on his office wall. The exam ended with Dr. Kirk announcing that I had perfect vision. I asked when I should schedule another check up and he said he would see me again in about 10 years. That was probably the best part of the entire experience. I tend to be a little jaded when it comes to the medical industry, but this man didn't see me as a pay day. His professional opinion was that my vision was great and unless I was experiencing a problem he didn't need to waste his time and my money telling me that I had good vision every single year. My experience at Almond Blossom Optometry was so great, that I can almost guarantee that I will be returning to Dr. Kirk. Hopefully I won't need to see him again for 10 years, but rest assured if I do experience a problem, Dr. Kirk is someone I can trust to help me out.

I now go straight to Rodin's market whenever I'm in town, which is about every other week; my parents are 90 so I am in Modesto often helping them out. Love Rodin's marekt; they have everything you need from fruit, nuts, bread, honey, corn, tomatoes, canned veggies and fruit, jam. That little store is loaded! All freshly grown and picked daily from the farms close by. Their fruit is a big treat for my parents.

There's plenty of parking there. We arrived around 8:15am, and we were abit disappointment in the trees as most of the blossoms have fallen off. We walked further down into the farm, and then we found some of the trees still have some blossoms. It looked like snow covered because of the fallen flower petals. We had a lovely time taking pictures and little videos. Because of the time restraint, we didn't visit the farm stand. I would definitely visit the next time I go. It's free to visit. I definitely recommend going to the Secret Garden afterwards for a lovely brunch/lunch/or dinner. That's what we did. :) Also, I think it would have been better to go visit in mid/late February because the trees would have more of the blossoms.

Ok I'm a little peeved I spent so many hours waiting cooking it frames and paid for a dilation and now you want me to pay outta pocket when I know my insurance covers it. No. So I call this location and he says yeah come in tomorrow and we'll pull it up some times when you have insurance through a federal system the person may not know how to do it. So I corn in at 10am Tim is the only guy working. He politely greets me and tells em he'll be with me as soon as he's done with his current customer; at the same time he figures out what I needed so we can dive right in when he's done. Fast forward. He comes I ever pulls everything up no problem authorized the insurance and gets the other LensCrafters to send over the frames I had picked out since the lt were out of that particular color. Less than an hour later I get an email saying my frames are ready. Currently I am waiting to pick up the glasses. Tim ran to the mall location to get the frames I guess they decided to fill out the prescription there instead of transferring and then filling it; either way it has been very speedy and efficient service. I'm pretty please. Thanks Tim.
