    Espinazo de puerco.
    Ahahaha S.

First couple of times coming here the meat was spot on and even tasted fresh. The past 3 times of coming here for espinazo de puerco, the espinazo has a terrible taste. I bought espinazo for posole. I wasn't watching the guy cutting up my espinazo and this is what he served me! I got home and the espinazo smelled terrible and had black dried up blood. Now with the new meat market on Bear Valley Rd (Carnes y mariscos) Mi Ranchito is going to go downhill. To the owners, please do better and serve better quality meat. Price doesn't matter to most of us, just give us quality.

Best meat market in HD!! Kbbq short ribs on deck!! Free marinades with request. Place super clean and doesn't smell like other meat markets I've been to. Will be coming all summer for my bbq.

Beef Loin Flap Angus Meat Marinated! The tastiest!

Been hunting down a good butcher shop up here for years. Unfortunately it's been a lot of places with mediocre to bad steak cuts. I'm glad I decided to roll into this one because they are hands down the best meat shop in the High Desert and I've been up here 27 years. The marinade here is legend so I always ask them to douse the angus steak in it.

A little pricey, but best Carne Asada, in the high desert i've only bought the Asada there and their seasoning and it was fire.

I was greeted several times by employees in the store and it felt nice to be acknowledged. It also felt good seeing the produce being replaced where there were empty spots. I love the sales and am grateful to be a Sprouts rewards member. I'm still trying to understand their points rewards system which seems to change frequently. I've been able to earn $2 since the latest rewards update and I'm not sure how long the points last before they expire. This Sprouts location has a big parking lot which is security monitored and there's also security guards within the store. Sometimes they greet, sometimes they don't. This location also offers buy online, pickup in store and has a partnership with Instacart to deliver items, with pricing similar or matching their in-store prices. Wednesday is the best day to shop here as their new deals as released on Wednesdays and usually overlap deals ending from the previous week. Would definitely recommend since they have a great selection and offer good sales. I'm not going to pay $10 or $11 for a bottle of sesame oil but their store brand soy sauce was on sale 2 for $8. Still a little pricey. Overall, great produce. This is my go-to for produce in the High Desert, besides farmers markets. Good job, Sprouts!

I've been here a few times, but not too often. I was here in the late evening. Parking lot was not well lit at all... not sure why. Inside was very bright and clean. I walked straight to the produce section. It was organized. I didn't see the hami melon. Bummer! However, I saw watermelon on sale... 3 lbs for 99 cents. I thought it would be a nice substitute to the hami melon. I'm not the greatest watermelon picker, but I did well. I went to self check-out. A young gentleman came over to assist me. Thank you young man! Watermelon cost me a little over $5 which wasn't too bad. For the very first time, I struggled to cut a watermelon. Something was different. It was difficult to cut through the rind. I didn't know what to think of it. I later realized that the watermelon may not be ripe yet. Anyway, I did my best to cut all of it. I couldn't bring unripe watermelon that's not sweet to work so I kept it in the frig in hopes it would ripe on its own eventually and it did. Wahoo! It turned out to be a very sweet watermelon. That's my watermelon story and I'm sticking to it! Btw, I ended up buying other fruits from someplace else for my work lunch. Thank you Cardenas Markets for a great watermelon! Sorry, no pics. Maybe next time.
