I came back for another meal. I was very happy. I came in on a Sunday, and I saw that they had Menudo. I love Menudo, so I decided to try it. The price was reasonable, and the bowl was huge! It came with the hominy., I love my Menudo with Hominy., and there was a lot of of the Menudo in the bowl. It also had all of the fixins' on the side The broth was fantastic The Menudo was delicious, and it was tender. It also came with four flour tortillas, which was a lot. I ended up taking some home. The meal was excellent. This was originally going to be a one star review, because they had a sign saying that you would get a treat if you posted a review. They took that sign down, which is good. The food and service should stand on its own, and here, it does.

Super breakfast burrito
Neikan M.

Very large breakfast burrito, but it was very greasy. The bacon tasted good but it was almost overpowered by the meat. Needed more eggs and cheese. The salsas were delicious, saving the meal overall! Not a horrible option but I'll definitely try another place next time Closer to a 3.5/5

Here's a picture of the carne asada nachos, try to guess what's missing.

Absolutely atrocious. Sub par food at best, which is to be expected at a 24/7 drive thru spot. But how the hell do you forget the meat on nachos after charging 17$ for them? There's no justifiable excuse for that.

Chimichanga

For a new restaurant being opened and also being 24/7 one this place is not bad. The quality of the food was wonderful and tasted fresh! The service was very fast and kind. For a first time visit I would definitely be coming back to try out other foods. These two dishes were amazing carne asada fries which where delicious and such a great go to if you're having trouble picking out something, just wish I could chose a different meat if I wasn't feeling asada and chimichanga, with the enchilada sauce on the side, was great super crispy I loved it. I ended up not using the enchilada sauce since it wasn't to my liking.

Ice cold Mexican coke in glass bottles are served, as well as sodas, horchata, and aguas frescas!

The customer service was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious and came in huge portions. The desserts were amazing and they used REAL quality ice cream! Highly recommend the sundae in the cinnamon tortilla bowl and the churro sundae. The horchata was sweet and rich! 100% will be here again. Thank you for a clean, customer service friendly environment for me and my family.

Service is excellent, very friendly and polite employees. Food was good. Very nice atmosphere and clean. My only concern is an ATM fee was added to my order, I used a credit card. I did not see any notice for using credit cards. Its possible I may have over looked it.

It's a nice restaurant, with seating on the inside and the outside. That's good, because they can. get busy. The employees are very friendly It's a very large menu, ranging from things such as your standard tacos, tortas, and burritos, to things such as seafood cocktails, molcajete, which is a Mexican stew, to posole. They have Menudo on the weekend, and also on the weekend, they have a person right in the dining room, making fresh, hot , tortillas on the spot. There is a small chips and salsa bar. The chips are very good, as are the salsas. My favorite has always been the avocado salsa, creamy with just a little bit of a kick to it. Today, I decided to go simple. I had a shredded chicken, super nachos, and a cheese quesadilla. The quesadilla didn't look like much, but it was very big. There was a lot of delicious Monterey Jack cheese in it. They were very generous with the cheese. The nachos didn't look very big, but they were. The chicken was tender. And delicious, and I loved the guacamole and the sour cream. The salsa had a nice little kick to it And as I mentioned before, the chips were fantastic, not greasy at all. For all I got, the price was very reasonable. I will continue to come back. Thank you.

Initially we had hesitated because the reviews weren't the best but we decided to try it. Our experience was very pleasant and we were surprised at how good the food was and their drinks! The moment we walked in we were greeted and sat right away. They took our orders and brought us chips and salsa. Surprised the salsa was actually good and it at a kick to it. That's always a plus because we're used to spicy salsa. My fiancé had the taquitos dorados and he ate everything in his place! He's very picky about his food, but since the first bite he said it was delicious! I had the nachos with carne asada, because I wanted something lighter, which ended up being the same as a man entree but thy were really good! The meat had a good flavor and texture. And nothing tasted old or stale. The ingredients were all fresh. I normally don't drink margaritas because tequila and I don't really get along but this blackberry margarita looked so good in the picture, I decided to give it a shot. Oh my! I'd never had a margarita this god before!! It was perfect, I finished it all. Something I always have trouble with. Not this time though Overall we enjoyed the food and drinks. And the staff were very friendly and the server checked on us frequently, which is always a plus. We were surprised that this place didn't have more people on a Saturday night, but I suppose it's because of the location. It's in a business area and there are mainly hotels and a few restaurants. We would definitely return if we're ever in this area again.

Today, as I was turning onto Rockingham, I finally noticed the place. I like to try new Mexican places so I decided to stop in. I'm glad I did. The place is not fancy on the inside, but it's bright and clean, and everybody was friendly and helpful. They do have Mexican decorations on the wall, and also a TV playing Mexican TV. They have a large menu. I decided to have the Barbacoa off of the lunch specials menu. It came with the Barbacoa, tortillas, (I chose flour) rice, beans, *AND* a soda as well. In addition to the meal, they also have a chips and salsa bar. The chips were crunchy and delicious, not greasy at all, and they had a large selection of salsa. I chose the avocado salsa,, and also the jalapeño and sour cream. The jalapeño in sour cream was spicy, but it was within the limits of what I care for in spicy. The sour cream helps cut down the spiciness of the jalapeños. It was delicious. As was The avocado salsa. The food comes, and for a lunch special, there was a lot of food. The Barbacoa was tender and delicious. The meat was beyond, tender, and it had a little bit of a tangy and spicy flavor to it, but not overly spicy. I added a little bit of the avocado salsa on top, and it just made it even more delicious. The rice and beans were also very delicious. I thought they were a both a little bit soft, for my personal taste, but I know everybody is different. The tortillas were a decent sized, they were delicious, and they gave me. *4* of them. I had plenty of food to take home for a second meal. For a lunch special, they were extremely generous, the food was amazing, and the price was very reasonable, especially since I got two meals out of it. I want to come back and try more things on the menu. Thank you for a great lunch.

I have also become obsessed with their carnitas... I have been there at least 3 different times just for their carnitas. I highly recommend this little Mexican store, the staff is also so sweet, professional and welcoming and they speak español! Muchas Gracias, La Jalisco!

Two points upfront - as far as I can tell, this is not in any way connected to the Jalisco Grill…read morerestaurants found elsewhere in the area. I thought maybe it was and that's why I dropped by... nope. Second point - it definitely reminded me of eating in Mexico, so I guess points for being authentic? I genuinely mean that... not trying to crack a joke or anything. Wobbly table and chair, Mexican game show on the TV, random flatware, decorations, extensive almost prison-like gating and fencing built around the building... it seriously reminded me of several of the places I've eaten at in Mexico. Anyway, on to the food! I was hoping to get a Birria plate, but the hostess informed me that they were out of that, so I chose the Chile Verde plate as a Plan B. The verde sauce had good favor... nice little bite to it. The rice was pretty much perfect, and the beans were very good too. Unfortunately, what should have been the star of the show... wasn't. I'm talking about the meat itself... a good Chile Verde should be nice and tender no matter what cut of pork was used since it's slow cooked for a good bit of time. Pork shoulder is commonly used... but Mexican food in general is designed to be flexible - making cheap cuts taste awesome is the whole magic behind Mexican cooking in the first place! The meat used in this case was rib meat. Short ribs. Was some sort of law broken? This was the first time I remembered having bones in Chile Verde - certainly THIS many bones. No rule broken, though... remember what I said about flexibility. Unfortunately, the meat was dry and tough too. I seriously doubt it had been simmered for any period of time... probably didn't spend much time in the verde sauce either. I really don't like writing a review like this, but honesty is honesty. I can and have made much better Chile Verde myself. I'm hoping this was just a bad day, and I hate to judge a restaurant... someone's business and livelihood too harshly based on a single visit on possibly a bad day... but it is what it is. I see that there are some good reviews here, so there's hope! I'm not writing off another visit. I would love nothing more than to give this review a significant upgrade!
