However, when we took our churros back to the car to eat, we were disappointed to find that they were raw primarily inside. They were crispy on the outside, but incredibly doughy in the middle, which was a big letdown. I don't mind waiting a few extra minutes for them to be cooked properly, especially since it wasn't hectic and they didn't seem rushed. We're definitely going to give them another try, because anyone can have an off day, and we're hoping it was just that, since it's always such a treat to enjoy fresh churros. Hopefully, the next churros experience will be different since we're big fans of churros in this house.
