As a texan, I was hesitant to try a Mexican spot in Nebraska because of course I think we have the best at home but boy was I wrong. This place is admittedly BETTER than majority of Mexican restaurants in my home state. The menu is huge with lots of daily specials/lunch specials at extremely resonable prices. The chips and salsa are excellent. The waitstaff from seating you to waiting on you to checking you out are all quick - everyone is willing to jump in to take care of you at all times. There are plenty of tables and comfortable seating - i havent explored but i believe there is even a party room. Highly recommend and will add this to my "must eat" list on yelp for my work travels to be sure I come back anytime I am in the area. read more

Decided lunch as we are leaving town after barrel race event. Shrimp Quesadilla, fresh jalapeños grilled, Mex Coke. Side of grilled green onions, which are great if you haven't tried. We had not prior this restaurant experience, and had this special food several times. B having Taco Salad with chicken. There are several Mex restaurant options in this area. Not sure how this place gets the 4.7 reviews. We came to visit family from out of state and decided to give this a try to compare it to the other Mexican restaurant down the road. Not happy with this one at all! Only thing I would give a good review about was the service from the young gal and the chips and salsa. Chips were not salty which I enjoyed and the salsa tasted fresh. Could have done with a bit bigger bowls for the salsa. I got the Burrito Mexicana and I was highly disappointed! Said shredded beef with onions and green bell peppers. Think I had one little pepper in it but no sign of onions. The size of the burrito? Wow the smallest burrito I've ever had! I'd compare it more to an enchilada. For $12 for just the burrito was a bit too steep in my opinion. My husband ordered the burrito grande. He let me have a taste of the beef that was in his and I did not enjoy it what so ever! Lacking in flavor and overcooked! Save yourself your money and go elsewhere. Again, service was very good even tho it was about 1:45 when we went in and not busy at all. Sad to say we will not be returning. read more

Wow, this is a great place! I came on Columbus Day, and it was hoppin'. Service was super great. They were super accommodating, even with the four kids under the age of four in our party! I was in the mood for fish, so I ordered the Tilapia Loca. It was awesome! The price was even better! It was just a touch greasy, which was actually kind of good, as it went well with the rice and salad on the plate. One of my friends ordered some queso for our complimentary chips. I'd never thought of doing this, and I'm so glad we did, because DANG that was worth the three extra bucks! (Actually six bucks, because we got two). I know there is one other Mexican restaurant in town, and I have been there once. I hear they're both good, but as of now, this one has my vote! read more

Food: Chips are thin and crisp, like real Mexican chips. Salsa was good and plentiful. I ordered the lunch special chicken fajitas with beans and rice and corn tortillas...it was perfectly portioned, and equally delicious. My husband had the nachos, which he commented were unlike any he had eaten before, in a good way. The chips and salsa kept coming throughout the meal and we were very satisfied. Value: Lunch prices are very reasonable, about $6.00 each. Service: Like I said earlier, the waiter kept the. Chips and salsa coming, and the water glasses full. Food is fresh and flavorful (can be over seasoned at times). For the price, quality, service and atmosphere, it's the best place in town of all the Mexican restaurants in town. I lived in Mccook for two years and was told not to come here because the food sucks- boy what a mistake. I started to come here towards the end of my two year stay in Mccook. This is our favorite place to go out to eat here in McCook. Great service food gets out really quickly and very tasty.

We had dinner in here with some friends who recommended it and were pretty disappointed. Portions sizes were small, I ordered a burrito and did not even get close to full after eating it.
