The decor and vibe is authentic and steps it up a notch from a normal Mexican joint. The drinks were cold and delicious. The complimentary salsa is great, and the guacamole may be the best I have ever had. We had a wide array of meals, fish tacos, Al pastor tacos, fajitas, grilled chicken, and we all loved it. The service was great! Even though it was a busy Friday night we didn't feel rushed to free up the table. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

When they arrived, they were told the employee who made the reservation was no longer with the restaurant and that they had "no recollection" of the rehearsal dinner being on the calendar. Mistakes happen, but what was most disappointing was the way the situation was handled. Instead of trying to make it right, the staff was extremely rude and dismissive. Rule number one in owning a restaurant should be taking responsibility when a mistake happens and doing everything you can to make it right. We understand that employees leave and things can get missed, but the restaurant's response was what was most disappointing. There was no real attempt to take ownership of the situation or accommodate the family. This was an important family event, and they were left scrambling because the restaurant failed to honor a reservation that had been confirmed. Why would a restaurant choose to lose the business of an entire rehearsal dinner party rather than make an effort to accommodate the situation? But don't worry--we found another place at the last minute, and they were amazing! They went above and beyond to accommodate our family and made what could have been a very stressful situation into a wonderful evening. So thankful we ended up somewhere that truly valued our business. Very disappointing experience with Habaneros and definitely not the level of customer service you would expect from a restaurant.

We love finding little food trucks and dives when in a new area so we tried this place which is a food truck. Despite the fact that neither one of speaks Spanish and it didn't seem like anyone who worked there had very strong English, they did not mess up a single thing or forget any of the sides we asked for. I got 3 tacos, 2 chicken and 1 steak. No matter which one you had, the flavor of the meat was just explosive! Very delicious. My partner got the fajita quesadilla. She did ask me to suggest not putting the zucchini in it but she really loved it otherwise. The only complaint I had was that both of the sauces that are served with the meals are just... not very good. That could be a personal taste thing but I like red and green sauces that not only have the heat but also have the flavor and those just didn't hit. I would definitely go back when in town again.
