I have not received a single phone call, happy to show my phone record for proof. And if it was such an urgent matter, even if they did call, you'd think that they would leave a voicemail. But nope. No calls no voicemails. I tried calling today at 12:30 PM and was sent to a recording that says they are now closed for their lunch hour which is 1 to 230. The voice recording says it, the letter says their lunch hour as 1-2:30. So why am I getting their automatic record recording if it's 1230 when I'm calling?! Regarding my blood work, I first called them once my results were posted and said what happens next? Because the sole purpose I went to this doctor was for them to help me understand what was going on with my blood work. The receptionist said and I quote "if you didn't receive a call from us that means there's nothing for concern with your blood work and I don't see any notes in your profile" so you're gonna tell me that they were just going to never reach out to me for a follow up if my blood work looked fine? That doesn't mean my concerns and my health issues are resolved! So now months later, and I'm getting a letter in the mail saying that they've been trying to reach me. And they haven't! And every time I try to call them and ask WTF this is, I get an automatic recording during their actual office hours, saying that they are closed and you can't even leave a voicemail. I hope they see this and call me ASAP because they are supposedly keeping vital medical information from me.

I've been a patient at this office for years, and this was by far the most disappointing experience…read moreI've had. I received a call from the front desk today 4/8/2026 after I left my office visit regarding an additional charge for my consult I had paid $120 because I chose to visit their office while my new insurance kicks in, and the way it was handled was completely unprofessional. Instead of clearly explaining the reason for the extra $80 cost, the staff member came across as demanding and dismissive--as if I was supposed to already know their internal policies. At no point during my visit was I informed that discussing my symptoms could turn the appointment into a higher-cost consult. What made matters worse was the tone of the conversation. It felt like I was being blamed for the appointment running longer, which is unfair. Patients rely on medical staff to guide the visit appropriately--it's not our responsibility to manage time or determine billing classifications. There also seems to be a lack of internal communication and organization. If expectations, pricing, and visit structure were clearly communicated upfront, situations like this could easily be avoided. I asked to speak to the office manager because, yes, I had every right to be upset. Instead of taking accountability , apologizing, I was met with defensiveness--and then banned. Banned for speaking up after being treated poorly, advocating for myself. That tells you everything you need to know about how this office handles concerns. There is a serious lack of communication, organization, and basic respect here. If expectations and pricing were explained upfront like they should be, none of this would have happened.

As a third-year resident at San Dimas Community Hospital, Dr. Jurdi embodies everything you would hope for in a physician and mentor. He is incredibly warm, approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in the people around him. He created an environment where questions were welcomed and learning was encouraged. He never made me feel judged for not knowing something; instead, he challenged me to think critically, dig deeper, and become more confident in my clinical reasoning. What stood out most was how much he cared about his patients. Every interaction reflected his compassion, patience, and commitment to providing the best possible care. He took the time to listen, build trust, and make patients feel comfortable and heard. It's easy to see why his patients think so highly of him. As a mentor, Dr. Jurdi consistently pushed me outside of my comfort zone in the best way possible. He encouraged me to take initiative, expand my knowledge, and develop skills that will benefit me throughout my medical career. His teaching style is supportive, engaging, and inspiring, and he has had a lasting impact on my growth and training as a future physician. I would also like to recognize the entire team at Advocate Family Medicine Clinic. The clinic has an incredibly welcoming atmosphere, and every staff member and physician I interacted with was professional, kind, and dedicated to patient care. It is clear that the culture of teamwork and excellence extends throughout the entire practice. Thank you,Dr. Jurdi and the Advocate Family Medicine team, for such a positive and memorable experience. Any patient would be fortunate to have Dr. Jurdi as their physician, and any medical student would be lucky to learn from him.

I loved that I was seen on time and proper Covid precautions were made at the door to make me feel very safe. Dr. Ho was very thorough during my visit and took the time to address all of my concerns. He provided great preventative care and offered different approaches for my treatment plan that were very realistic and attainable. He's extremely knowledgable so I know that I am in great hands. I also appreciated the great follow-up care that Dr. Ho and his staff provided. Tamika, his MA, is very sweet and super helpful whenever I need assistance with anything. I highly recommend Dr. Ho to all of my friends and family and am so glad I finally found a doctor that truly cares.

Over that time, my blood work and treatment results were generally positive, and from a clinical standpoint things were going well. That said, there were a few issues that became frustrating over time. Even when visits were only to review routine lab results, Dr. Ho refused to do phone or virtual appointments. I often waited 30+ minutes in the lobby, drove through traffic both ways, and then had a 10-15 minute conversation that easily could have been handled remotely. The bigger problem came recently when my insurance changed from UnitedHealthcare to Cigna after more than seven years. I proactively called the office to update my information and was told they do not accept Cigna. No real explanation was given beyond "we're not set up with them." I then offered to pay cash and handle reimbursement myself through my insurance, which would have required no extra work from their office. That was also declined, simply because I technically have insurance -- insurance they don't accept. At that point it became clear the office no longer wanted me as a patient. For someone in the middle of long-term treatment, this was extremely frustrating and disruptive. Between the rigid appointment policies and the refusal to work with either my new insurance or a self-pay option, I've decided to find a new primary care doctor. Very disappointing experience after being a loyal patient for two years.

She's helped me get to the bottom of several health issues and is always incredibly fast at seeing me if anything ever arises. Her dedication to helping the body with not only medicine if needed, but with mind body awareness is something I think is so important because she treats you specifically as to what you need for your entire well being. She and Estrella make you feel so seen and really ease your mind when you are going through stuff. I have always had medical anxiety and they put me at such ease....and of course seeing Violet the wonder dog helps too as dogs always help me stay calm and comforted! I never feel anxious when I go to Heart of Bodhi, between their concern and calm energy and the soothing atmosphere of the practice, I feel absolutely safe and relaxed. Dr. Patel really cares and is so thorough! I have autoimmune stuff and she has been such an integral part of my feeling healthier! I can't recommend her enough. I've seen so many doctors for various things in my life and can say without question that she is the first doctor who has been there for me and made me feel so incredibly seen and cared for. She doesn't cut corners or brush things off, she take you very seriously and helps you get to the bottom of whatever is going on with precision, care and a medical and wholistic approach that I appreciate beyond measure. It was a little uncomfortable for about a week afterward, but nothing difficult to manage, and after that I didn't even notice it was there. By the second week, I started seeing real improvements. My sleep dramatically improved, which was the first major change I noticed. Shortly after that, my libido returned--something I honestly thought was gone for good. I've also experienced a noticeable boost in energy and much clearer thinking, with the mental fog I used to struggle with significantly improving. Dr. Patel has been incredibly attentive and thorough throughout the entire process. She closely monitors my progress and makes sure every question or concern I have is addressed. I always feel heard, supported, and well cared for. Her nurse is also wonderful--so kind, attentive, and helpful, which makes every visit even more pleasant. The office environment itself deserves a mention too. It's incredibly welcoming and has such a peaceful, almost zen-like atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Dr. Patel and her team are truly the best, and I'm so grateful for the positive impact this treatment has had on my health and quality of life.
