Don't know how to review the place I just got here quick easy process. I just have her my license number and my mileage and she punched it in. Paid and I'm just sitting here waiting for them to do the inspection on my car. It's a small little spot really clean. The young lady at the desk was really friendly young and beautiful. I paid $58.25 to be exact I guess it depends on the car and the mileage who knows. I just hope and pray my car passes. So I won't be driving around town like a lot of people without tags.its a really busy street lots of traffic. I was actually referred here by the DMV on F street downtown Bakersfield area. Great fast easy service Thank you all I Passed ! read more

El Primo Auto Center - Waiting area view - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Bakersfield, California

If you don't book an appointment ahead of time be ready to spend the whole day at the shop, either cause you will be on the waiting list or cause they found a minor error which they could of assisted with but yet they send you away to figure it then come back (and pay an additional charge for the recheck) and be put at the bottom of the list again this may be the only DMV accepted Safety inspection site but sadly definitely needs to improve its service! read more

The customer service from the front desk was good except for one lady that was being rude because I asked questions and gave me a bunch of attitude from the beginning while she checked my car with the scanner when I was just simply asking questions.Everyone else that works there is cool except her. read more

I have had the privilege of associating with the Espericueta family, owners of El Primo Auto Center since 1977. The honesty and integrity of the family and the quality of their employees is absolutely supreme. Knowledge of what and how has been passed from Pete and Ana to Jaime and Lyn, now to Marcos and his wife is the sort of knowledge that can only be acquired through hard work and experience. We have three older vehicles that can be repaired. We take them nowhere else. I cannot give a recommendation high enough to compare with my estimation of the quality of the service given there. read more

I highly would not buy a car from them again! I recommend not buying cars from them, they will try to make a car sound good just so they can get rid of it, instead of benefitting the buyer they want to benefit themselves. read more
