There is lots to do. There is a playground, volleyball court, basketball court, lots of grass for playing soccer. You can bring your bikes, scooters, skateboards, etc. and ride along the path that circles the park. You can also rent bikes there. There is a train that laps the park, excellent for little kids. There are several gazebos which are good for picnics or celebrating birthdays. The park has access to the beach where you can rent paramotors. I wouldn't recommend getting in the water. It seems the current is strong. There are some food trucks by the beach and a restaurant at the front of the park. The park is located by the meeting of the Río Camuy and the Atlantic Ocean. There is a boardwalk along the river with an observation deck. Plenty of parking available out front.

Small vendors are located in the area selling all kinds of items including jewelry and souvenirs. The area also have some places to take pictures including a large sign that says I Love Puerto Rico (I heart Puerto Rico) and another sign with Boricua! on it. Probably the nicest area outside a Port I saw on my Carnival Cruise to Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Saint Thomas.

This center has their own radio station, cinema and butterfly garden for visitors to enjoy. They also have multiple ongoing initiatives to instruct the community on ways to protect the environment and create sustainable energy for their town. Lastly, every Saturday at 1pm they offer a movie on the first solar powered cinema in the island. Definitely a place to stop by. If you do make sure to support them by purchasing something from the gift shop. Among of the things that they sell is their own freshly packed, locally grown coffee.
