Oh my goodness!!! They have some amazing hard shell tacos!!! Get the 2 for $5 on Tuesdays and ask for extra cheese. Woo hoo!!! Good times !

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! This is the THIRD time I've been here and their soda machine is out!! WHY??? Not to mention I was in line for 30 MINS!!!! WHY?? All they make is chicken!!! Then I finally get up to the window and attempt to pay with my birthday reward, I show it to the guy and he says "OH GREAT! Hold on!" And closed the window in annoyance! What the heck!!! This is not a professional!! Not to mention, the free taco I received was SUPER salty!!! BLAH!!! read more

I frequent Pollo Loco via the drive thru at least one a week. I enjoy their fit menu options since I live a healthy eating lifestyle. I normally get the keto burrito with a side salad and love their creamy cilantro dressing. I may get a side like corn, which I also enjoy but depends how hungry I am. The food is always fresh and has great flavors including the green salsas. The service is very good and workers are very friendly and normally get my order right. I definitely will cone back and am a regular customer. read more

Worse service ever! Missing items from my order and wasn't given a receipt. When I went back, staff wouldn't replace the missing food because I couldn't show a receipt they never provided. Very frustrating experience and poor customer service. read more

I usually go here for there combo meals as they're a great deal. However i noticed they keep serving less and less chicken every time. I always get the same thing, a pollo bowl combo with chips and a drink but every time i go it seems like they put less and less chicken on the bowl. Today was the worst, I ordered a bowl and there was ALMOST NO CHICKEN. I mean the chicken probably made up 3 percent of the whole bowl. To top it off i ordered a breast in the side and they gave me a leg, i only noticed it after leaving. Terrible experience that seems to get worse. read more

Horrible customer service This is the second time I have been to this location after making a mobile order for pick up and have the exact same thing happen to me. I walked in with one girl in front of me ordering. As soon as she was done I stepped up to the counter and the guy doesn't even acknowledge me. He turns around and starts making a bowl and tacos for an order. (He put gloves on but did not wash his hands) A few minutes go by. Two other workers see me standing at the counter waiting and neither of them say a word. All this while my order had been sitting right next to the register getting cold. Finally, a woman asks me if I had been helped. I said no and tell her I had a mobile order. She then hands me the bag that had been sitting there all this time. I kid you not, the EXACT same thing happened the last time I went to pick up an order. I could not believe it. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. As for the food: the chicken was dry, the tostada salad looked like it was only half full and the salsa containers were only filled half way. I didn't order any sides because the last time I did the Mac and cheese was bland and looked pale brownish and the rice was just straight mush. Date and time of this interaction: 11/5/24 at 5:15pm read more

Came in recently and my visit was definitely better than last. The service was still fairly slow, but at least my order(placed online and picked up in drive thru) was accurate and well made. The drive thru after dark was kinda creepy since there are people that hangout in the parking lot and the grassy area near the drive thru and that area isn't well lit in some areas. The person that helped me was nice, but they were out of some stuff and one of those things happened to be a cup carrier, but she looked for a small box to put the drinks in and that was very much appreciated. What I didn't appreciate was paying extra for dressing, but neither cup was fully filled. If it was free, that's fine, but it wasn't, and I don't appreciate paying for something and not getting the full amount of what I'm paying for. All in all I'd come here again and it was much better than my last visit a while back. read more

When we entered the restaurant, Jasmine made us feel welcome at all times by inquiring if all customers required assistance with placing their orders. My friend and I were extremely pleased with the service Jasmine provided. Although she was attending to all customers alone, she demonstrated remarkable efficiency and friendliness, consistently maintaining a smile. I simply wish to express my hope that Jasmine will be considered for a managerial position in the future.Great job jasmine keep up the great job read more

The staff is always friendly and seem to have good chemistry between them, the manager (I think his name is Phil) is always helpful and goes above and beyond for his customers, I've been having multiple issues with the online ordering app and he has given me the resources and information I need to address them. Furthermore, I can tell Phil is a good manager because he always keeps a smile, especially when things get busy (we all know how tough working in the food industry is, and being the manager adds another layer of stress). With that said, their food is always tasty and the dining area is always clean; which is why I keep coming back to this place. The ambiance is chill most of the time. There seem to be a lot of transient people in this area, making it feel unsafe at times, however, I've never felt unsafe inside the dining area. Bonus! Their drive-thru does not have a 9-foot clearance so you can drive through with just about any car (or ambulance in my case) that's a big plus! read more

I've also gotten orders from this location and it at always been spot on! Unfortunately, today has been a huge disappointment! The mashed potatoes were watery with not much taste. I ordered Mac n Cheese, but they gave me beans (didn't realize till I got home). The tortillas were cold! The only thing that tasted good was the chicken and salsa! Don't think I'll be going there again. read more

No picture . Not worth the time . Hardly any chicken on the salad. I asked for extra pico de gallo and they didn't put any on the salad . They gave me 3 in the bag . I kindly asked them for more and they had already closed the window on my request . I get everyone's tired , everyone has a life but please be a bit more friendlier at the window , repeat the order at the drive thru , give the correct amount of salads and trust me ... that will step up your customer service and bring more customers back . read more

This place sucks. The chicken is cold and tasteless. They always forget to put things in the bag. I'm not going back!

This Pollo Loco Is disappointing. They always forget something with orders that I make. Last time it was my Sauces and tortillas for my family meal. But I let that one slide. Now it was my chips and guacamole. It's very disappointing to see that they do not improve. read more

I come here because it's a "healthier" alternative, but good LORD... I have never ordered food and gotten a fully correct meal in return from this location, ever. There is ALWAYS something wrong with the serving, condiments, or just a completely wrong order. Either steer clear of this location or just triple check your food before leaving because it won't fail, trust me. read more

Yessenia provided amazing customer service in the drive thru! Very pleasant and customer focussed.

Horrible salsa, drink, rice and beans. The chicken was somewhat ok. The red Salsa was frozen, I asked for another one and it was frozen as well. The green salsa was like water with no flavor. The drink tasted old. What happened to pollo loco? read more

Don't go here. They get big mad when they are asked to do their jobs and give you the food you ordered on the app. The woman at night literally sighed into the mic at drive-thru when I told her I had a mobile order. Then they made me drive around again. When I came back the teenager threw my food at me and slammed the window shut. They were so rude just because they had to do their jobs. read more

Not very friendly staff. I ask for dressing for my salad because the container they gave wasn't even full.. they wanted to charge me for dressing. I ended up needing the dressing because the chicken in the salad was so dry! Please visit a different location if you can help it read more

Terrible service from the beginning. I arrived at the drive thru at 10:03 and waited for about 5 minutes until someone had answered the intercom. I was saying hello and even honking. Went to get a family meal today, worst chicken ever. The chicken is old and dry and flavorless. The beans have no seasoning whatsoever. The dining room was closed and they only had drive thru service. I asked for black beans they gave me pinto, I asked for green salsa, they didn't have any and did not give me any salsa at all. I think this is the worst Pollo Loco experience around. Owner/manager: Aren't you reading the many bad reviews? Don't you see a pattern of unacceptable service? I came here for dinner I ordered the black bean chicken bowl. My daughter ordered the kids meal macaroni cheese chicken taco with broccoli on the side and then I ordered a side of chips and guacamole. The chips were stale. I don't understand that. How can you serve stale food? The guacamole looked semi brown. I thought to myself that's not a good start. I tried it and the taste was tasteless. It also had a flare of sourness. Eeewww!!! I couldn't eat it after the first bite!! I'm glad I ordered a small size. My plate wasn't that great. I barely had chicken. It had a small portion size. Broccoli was under cooked. This plate had no flavor!! Our dessert the churros, were soft not crunchy. Like as if they had been sitting all day. Hardly could see any sugar or cinnamon. It was plain Jane!! Like my whole entire meal was bad. The only good thing was the lady who took my order was super nice. She was very friendly. Customer service a 5 star. Food = no stars!! read more

I placed an order for delivery on the El Pollo Loco website and did not receive the tortillas that were supposed to come with my meal. When I called the restaurant I was told that I would have to come to the restaurant "to make it right" as they said. I asked for a refund, since I paid online with a credit card, so I assumed they could give me a refund to my card. I am a senior citizen without a car and it would be extremely difficult for me to get there. I should not have to be inconvenienced in that way anyway just for a refund that can be done electronically. I have had problems with El Pollo Loco orders in the past and I am done with them, not worth it. Terrible customer service. read more

The person taking my order through the drive-thru seemed to be in a bad mood and told me to hold on after I said I was ready to order. I asked for more salsas for my order and she said they were out of the green sauce and that she will give me more house salsa and the hot. I get to the front, repeats my order doesn't say hello while she's taking another order. We check and she gave us one salsa. Without handing me my receipt and just my card, I asked her for more salsa kindly and she rolled her eyes and gave me a dirty look. Then I see mediocre of a bowl they provided me. Last time I'll be visiting this location. And to ensure no other employee is being told something they didn't do, I'm pretty sure it was the manager wearing a grey shirt during the night ship at 7:30pm on Sunday October 3rd. The only reason I gave two is because at least my order was correct and somewhat fast. Really bummed seeing this location become like this as this was convenient coming home from work and near my home. Normally, I love the food at El Pollo Loco, but when the service is awful, at which point is it not worth it anymore? I get 1 hour for lunch and have a meeting right afterward. This is the second time I have ordered from their app for a curbside pickup in hopes of saving time. This is the second time I've been made to wait over 30 minutes past when the app said the order would be ready. Today I spent over 45 minutes of my one hour lunch break waiting for the food to come out and if I hadn't gone into the store furiously angry, I would still be waiting. Here's the best part... after waiting 45 minutes... they got my order wrong!!! I may stop going to El Pollo Loco despite going for years to various locations.
