Now when they first come out they're lacking in presentation but thank goodness they provide the onions and cilantro with lime on the side to dress it up. Makes all the difference. Just can be challenging getting out if you need to turn left out of there. Otherwise, the restaurant is kept clean and bussed rather quickly.

The guac was super fresh and flavorful, and having it made right there just made the whole experience feel a little more special. The margaritas were strong (in a good way) and perfectly balanced--not too sweet. For the main, I got the deluxe burrito combo and it did not disappoint. Huge portions, packed with flavor, and everything tasted fresh. You can tell they don't cut corners on ingredients. Service was great, the vibe was lively, and overall it just felt like a solid go-to spot for good Mexican food and drinks. Definitely coming back.

Once inside, turn right to enter the main dining area. There is a counter to the left with the hostess. We selected a booth near the outside wall and were seated immediately. There were only a few other lunch customers, and the seating is spaced well so moving around is easy. Our server took the drink order and another server brought the chips and salsa right away. The chips were fresh and the salsa was nice. It looked like it would have a heavy tomato flavor but it was surprisingly well-rounded. It was a decent start for the meal. The menu is extensive with something like five pages of items. We decided to try only items from the lunch menu which made the selection easier. Our drinks arrived quickly and we placed our order. Our food arrived in about ten minutes. The Texas fajitas included several large shrimp along with the steak and chicken. The mixture was well-seasoned and plentiful for a lunch portion. The accompanying refried beans were average and the guacamole salad was fresh and crisp. The flour tortillas were warm. The lunch carnitas provided 3-4 chunks of pork. The meat was slightly dry but still tender. It was seasoned nicely and quite tasty. The same refried beans were fine and the pico was fresh and a very nice addition to the pork. The optional corn tortillas were warm and held together much better than most corn versions. Service was very good. Both entrees were good and large enough for a lunch portion at a reasonable price. The menu is very large and based on this first visit is certainly worth additional exploration.

Literally any restaurant can do that. They said they have to do the rice and the beans on the side and the guacamole on top with red sauce. I said just put the guacamole on the side and burritos shouldn't have sauce on it. She kept repeating it has red sauce I said no sauce strictly this stuff I said only. Doesn't take a rocket scientist... she kept saying cheese sauce I said No, we want cheese, literal cheese, not any sauce anything. I also ordered shrimp fajitas and steak nachos with just steak and cheese, and the burrito above. The chicken in the burrito was kind of dry, like they possibly boiled it then shredded it. Her food wasn't very flavorful. My bf said that his nachos were tasty but needed more cheese sauce. My plate wasn't flavorful at all. To me it seems like this is more Tex-Mex with white people in the kitchen. iI from California and have been to Mexico many time..so I know authentic Mexican food and this doesn't come anywhere near it.
