Our go to Mexican restaurant in springville. Consistently good food and the best prices in springville. All of the staff are nice and greet us with a smile. They do get a little busy, but you can tell they try their best and are extremely apologetic if the wait is longer than normal. read more

ElPatron is beautiful on the inside with murals painted across the walls and each chair has its own unique artwork. Service was kind and attentive! Prices are reasonable. We had around 4 margaritas that were really refreshing in a cute authentic glass. The pechuga con chorizo was a generous portion and an absolutely heart-warming meal! We ( my husband & myself) have been to this restaurant several times for the past several years, that said this past year when going things have changed for the bad. We went just yesterday. My husband's food was ok, I ordered flaming cheese with steak. The plate I ordered was so hot & popping it burned my arm ( crease popping on my arm) let it cool before even trying to do anything. I tried to get enough for ONE TACO. The meat -cheese was burned, CHAREX TO THE PLATE!!!! Then when tried to eat as a toco, meat was tough as leather as well as burned. Husband insisted I eat something when refused to eat any more, so told waitress to get me TWO TAQUITOS. Then had to ask for the sour cream & guacamole that should have come with. Was charged for guacamole & the spoon of sour cream!!! Then charged for TWO TACOS for the taquitos I could not eat. Waitress toke the rice that I was given with the taquitos as well!!!! Salsa is good, which is a deal breaker for any restaurant. Dock a star for being overpriced and, likely due to the language barrier, got my takeout order wrong (missed something yet still charged me and then charged me TEN DOLLARS when I asked for some extra chips and salsa. I didn't need a gallon, broski. I just wanted an extra little styrofoam cup, maybe two). All that said, I'll probably eat there again. But not before I try the other 2 in Springville. They're both cheaper, and if the food and service is better, well then there'd be no reason to go back to El Patron. FWIW, Blue Tequila in Odenville is excellent on all fronts, IMHO. read more

Try the street tacos! These were very authentic and had really fresh ingredients. We had pork carnitas and shrimp street tacos, both had lots of filling. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. This was our first time visiting and we'll be back. read more
