Grande!

Mexican one more time wile in Forest, MS. Went out to eat after Goid Friday church service with 9 other people and my much better 1/2 and I shared a meal. The beans, rice, guacamole, sausage, chicken and vegetables were good but the stake was like eating a piece of 1820's shoe leather. The place was clean and very nice people but come on y'all!!! I would say I pass on the next anyone wants to go here. Adios!

Large portions. This was my husband's "full" point.

Passing through, we saw El Patio and decided to have a late lunch. Cute, casual, restaurant with friendly servers. The seats could be more comfortable but it's not awful. The salsa for the chips was very good, while I found the cheese dip to be a little on the thin side - but good flavor. Took awhile for our order to arrive - a cheesy steak burrito with rice and beans for my husband and sliced grilled steak in cheese sauce with tortillas and Mexican rice for me. Both were good. Portions are large so we both asked for to-go boxes. Though not outstanding, El Patio is a solid recommendation from us for a nice Mexican meal if you're passing through Forrest MS.

The chicken chimichanga may have very well been one of the best I've ever eaten! I took my Mother with me and she enjoyed her meal and fried ice cream as well.

Very friendly staff. Food was good. Just be very specific when ordering. Salsa was good. Chunks of onion which I don't like. I gave them to my sister. :)

The food is good, but a little pricey for a large group. Great service unless you arrive at a busy time!

Got the Happy Buritto plate with sweet tea. And it was only $13.20 on the receipt, but the charge was $20.20 on my account..

Really good food! Fresh Authentic and not a heat up dinner. Small hole in the wall, but glad we took the chance!

So this place was not the cleanest the walls were filthy at our both looks like some kids had a food fight but we looked passed it and decided to stay. Bad choice. So we ordered our food no problem i ordered chicken tacos something simple. My tacos came out and they definitely were not chicken turns out it was steak. Now to some people they would be delighted but not when you just had a detox from red meat so thanks for ruining that. Took some time to get someone back to the table to let them know my order was wrong and by then the food was cold anyways. I sent the tacos back and ordered French fries you can't mess that up right. WRONG! The fries were undercooked and pale as ever. I ended up eating nothing because I refuse to eat food from a place I have to send the food back multiple times at that point it's time to throw in the white flag. My niece food she said was ok she had steak with rice and beans but the steak lacked flavor. My sister had steak tacos she ate them because she was hungry but again no flavor. They also charged like $5 for some hot sauce which was strange so no condiments with tacos they just want you to eat them dry?! Overall bad experience will never return.

Someone said they had seen her leave. The salsa tasted like plain tomato sauce with a few small strips of onion. No cilantro or seasonings. The chips were thin and crispy and were good though. A busboy or cook brought the food out. The Chicken Relleno Quesadilla only had chicken and cheese. Grilled onions, peppers, tomatoes, and beans were missing from the quesadilla. The side of refried beans was cold. The guacamole, sour cream, and lettuce salad was also missing on the side. Flagged a cook down and told him the order wasn't correct. He knew what was ordered but I still showed him on the menu. 15 minutes later he brought the plate back. By this time, others were basically finished eating so they had to wait on me. Only onions and peppers had been added to the quesadilla. The rest was still the same. The side of refried beans tasted bitter and had no salt. They were awful and inedible for me. The quesadilla tasted ok but would've been a whole lot better with the other missing ingredients. This is the 2nd time we've eaten here and we've been disappointed both times with the food and this time with bad service without the waitress. We don't plan on going back and definitely wouldn't recommend.

My dad had the Bean Burrito, my husband had the Taco Salad, and I had a Pork Tamale and an Al Pastor Taco. Our food was VERY subpar, absolutely zero flavor. Nothing tasted fresh, in fact, we felt like we were eating reheated food that was already over cooked. The red sauce tasted like it came straight from a can, the Tamale was very thick and dry on the outside and the pork inside was also dry and bland. My husband rarely complains, but he even had a hard time getting through his taco salad, which he orders 99% of the time we eat Mexican food. He said it taste like mushy, flavorless ground beef, and kept wondering if it was really beef due to its really washed out apperance. We also agree with the other reviews concerning the chips and salsa, tomato taste and heat with no flavor. Now the service was great, and the establishment was very clean and well kept (including the restroom). Ambiance was also nice. If you're still reading this, just know I was born and raised in Cali on what I consider some of the absolute BEST Mexican cuisine. This was my first and last time eating Mexican food in Mississippi.
