I rly wanted to add a review bc they have a menu that's a book and not one picture of it online... so I got the first 5 pages, I think there was 3 more (had husband get pictures) We got the food and totally forgot to take more pics bc we were starving. Next time. Chips and salsa were good. Nachos with shredded chicken, which was chips, shredded chicken, cheese, green peppers, and onions. I was bummed there was no lettuce, tomato, and sour cream... they were still good. My husband torta and it looked amazing , great bread and seemed homemade, but the steak was meh. We are locals and have eaten here for years. New menu options are nice. Staff is friendly. But service has continually gone down over the past several years. Chips aren't warm anymore. Must ask for refills as staff passes your table several times but doesn't stop. Usually have to chase down the bill as well. Even when it's not busy. And be sure to double check your carry-out items. Hate that it's not what it used to be. But Carnesville doesn't have a lot to choose from. So if we eat in town, this is pretty much it. read more

They say you can judge a Mexican restaurant by its chili relleno. In that case I should give it a 0. It tasted like vomit. Lost my appetite. Mom said her steak was dry. My sister's taco shell was stale and we returned it for a fresher one. Cheap, wierd tasting hamburger meat inside. Don't give kids inferior product, just because they're kids. Beans and rice weren't anything great. But the horchata drink was the best I've ever had. Beer mug was cold, but waiter didn't grab it by the handle, leaving a big handprint on the frosted mug, warming it up. To give him credit it wasn't where the lips touched the glass. read more

Horrible ordered a jalapeño cheese dip, chicken chimichanga and rice burrito deluxe rice and beans burrito deluxe and rice 2 bags of chips and salsa all to go it was $52.00 they day n'y give complimentary chips and salsa on to go orders so had to order that extra dont give chips with the cheese dip so ordered extra chips for that got a beef chimichanga not chicken and the meat had no seasoning the chees dip was missing the cheese I believe after it sat for a hour because no one would eat it you could still pour it like water dont waste your money like I did mcdon would have been better and I hate McDonald's read more

We eat here regularly. From the Cubana to the chipotle anything to the hamburger steak to the wings. It's all been great. You might not have the best experience everywhere you go, but we go here enough to know they are consistently good, service and food!! read more

This is a good place to eat. The Chili Relleno leaves something to be desired. They only have two pieces of bell pepper on top of beef and cheese mixture. That to me does not make a chili Relleno. Poblano pepper is a must. Very few places make the dish the correct way. I will keep trying places to find it The $3.50 margarita was probably a over the counter mix that you can buy at the grocery store . William made a statement that his Carne Asada is always consistent but how many ways can you mess up steak. Well I guess you could serve me coyote or armadillo. . read more

I'm not a frequent visitor of this particular type of cuisine, but I had the opportunity to visit El Parian with a group. The first catching detail was the relatively thin distribution of occupants within the restaurant. As a group of five, we were quickly ushered to a corner. Despite the many seating options, we were somewhat awkwardly placed beneath a television. Despite the initial weird placement, the waitress was quick to bring some complimentary salsa-and-chips. Funnily enough, they so freely offer them that when one half of the table had barely taken a near literal bite out of the chip count that they replenished the table with an entirely new basket and discarded the rest. Drinks orders were taken promptly and returned equally fast. When taking our order, I didn't feel pressured for time as I pondered over what to order on the vegetarian menu. It's a small option with only slight variants between menu numbers one through five; I was appreciative nevertheless. I ended up ordered a bean burrito, enchilada, and basically a taco shell with an assortment of tomato, tomato sauce, guacamole, and lettuce forged together. I liked the diversity; the bean burrito portion was more of a sludge without any fully formed beans visible within the burrito. Overall, I considered it a mostly average meal; I applaud their notion to include vegetarian options, but it doesn't have the typical attention that I appreciate in such dishes. I really consider it more of an inclusion simply for the sake of saying it's on the menu. I don't believe this will vary much between the dishes if I were to return. But I just wanted to leave that note for someone more interested in wholesome and attractive vegetarian options. The staff was really friendly and did stop by multiple times to ask if everything was good and if we needed anything. I'm sure quite a lot will enjoy the restaurant; it lacked any initial grab for me to make me want to try more of the menu. read more

Busy busy place during ball season. Food is consistently good, the salsa is perfect, and the staff is personable. I've tried several things on the menu. I love this place. A friend recommended it, told me they make a good steak. He was wrong, they make a great steak - and a great everything else too. If something isn't quite right, they will make it right as soon as you let them know you're not satisfied. They always go the extra mile, if they know you particularly like a sauce, they'll make sure you have as much as you desire. On to go orders, there are always utensils and plenty of napkins. The best Mexican food I have ate. The owner is very friendly. Me and my wife eat here 2-3 times a week. The guacamole is ok. I like a more chunky quac. The service has went down hill ever since the owner opened his new restaurant in toccoa. I'm guessing he is there more since it is a new restaurant. Decent food, but you may get ignored. I've been ignored on several occasions and just ended up leaving. The waiters hardly ever check on you, there's only a few good ones. I went to eat tonight, walked in, walked to the kiosk where they seat you, some people walked in behind me, and they seated them first; she grabbed 3 spoons/menus so she did not think I was with them. We were on our way back to Atlanta and found this little gem after passing multiple exits on 85 with very little prospects. The staff was great! Attentive, friendly, and looking to make the experience possible. We ordered Mexican guacamole to start which was served fresh and very generous. My husband and I were craving Mexican food as we traveled down I85. Maps brought us to this nice little restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was even better. Waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order after I asked 2x (not due to being busy). Guacamole similar to puréed baby food, and lacking flavor other than an over powering imitation citrus flavor. Menu boast fresh ingredients, but very obvious that even the spinach is of the chopped frozen variety. If you want good Mexican, continue down the road to Lavonia, Royston, or Hull. read more
