SEVEN WORDS: WHOLE-WORLD COMFORT FOOD / ELEVATED ON EVERY LEVEL…read more . I'm not Joking when I Give it this much Kudos. E!ch item (Inclyding "Simple" pre-meal 'Gnashing' Bread was equivalent to the Grub you'd find in Chicago, L.A., or Vegas. It was Exquisite. . Our Bread - a Whole Wheat Loaf, was modest in size, portioned for two. It included an Olive Oil dipping plate; however, it was prepped in the kitchen. AT first, I was a little disappointed that it wasn't created at our table, but this was extra-fine: an EVOO was folded with a freshly roasted garlic, a fine grating of great Parmesean...possibly Regianno...still...uncommonly GREAT. . For Appetizer, we ordered the Duck Wonton. The filling was great, with a medium earthy taste. Even better was the Breading and Crist. It was as Crispy as an Ethiopian Samosa or fine Panko Breading. Very Savory, Very Very Good. . Wow. Ww are on the Appetizer and I've written half a Chapter. . I'm gonna cut to the Quick with our two Pasta Dishes: Stuffed Shells (Prime Rib) and Bacon-Muahroom Penne (in White Sauce). Both are Everything...EVERYTHING...you would expect from each word in their description. Good Gravy...this was just as exceptional. It was World-Class...in Rural Ohio. It is a one-hour trip from Columbus that is 100% worth a return trip. For 2 Soda, two Entree + an Appetizer, our Total Bill Came to $67. . Did I mention we brought back two small plates worth of leftovers home? It looks like We will both be eating great food again tomorrow.

The service was outstanding and the food was great, not a single person was disappointed. Even with a crowd this size you could still talk at a normal level and hear just fine, the dining area was decorated beautifully. Definitely would recommend this place.

The service is always friendly and the food is always delicious. It is located on the Ohio river and has a wonderful view with very little street traffic. Spent a fall day checking out Marietta, and stumbled upon the Levee House Bistro…read more Right on the waterfront, on a quiet street, the views are terrific. It was a bit chilly for outside the day we went, but had we come here in warmer weather outside would have been a must. The restaurant was well appointed, I guess it could be called "casual fancy". We did not feel out of place in jeans and flannel shirts at lunch. For dinner I would suggest business casual. The dining room was a bit stuffy temp-wise, but the weather outside was having a hard time making up its mind!!!!! Our server was great. Very knowledgeable on the menu and all things local. Prompt and on point The food though, that is the highlight, as it should be. My wife ordered the Lobster Roll with house made Broccoli Salad. This was a ridiculously inexpensive $17! Not only that, but when her plate arrived there were TWO lobster rolls. I would have expected to pay double-and-a-half for what she had on her plate anywhere else. She loved the lobster rolls a lot. I am no fan of mayo so I had to forego the Lobster Rolls as they only offer New England Style. I do wish there was a Connecticut Style option! I had the Chicken parm Sandwich with fries, and it was very good. I do wish they served fresh cut fries. Just a preference for me especially in a chef lead dining establishment....last thing I want to see is frozen fries Overall, we were both very happy with our lunch here and would definitely return.
