Pan con bistec
Alfredo R.

Love this place one of many palacio de Los jugos and I've been to a few of them located in Miami it's a well known spot for getting a variety of food in big amounts I went in for a pan con bistec this time but let me tell you I didn't expect it to be this good it was perfect Cuban bread toasted to perfection, skirt steak seasoned well, lettuce and tomatoes fresh, and with mayo definitely better than I expected. The service don't expect much and most of the employees only speak Spanish so it may be tough if your a foreigner but you can make it through they try their best as well. The ambiance it's located at the beginning/ start of your journey to Hialeah so reason why it's most Hispanic workers but you could also say allapattha there is places to seat but your right by the road so don't expect anything quiet and no indoor seating so it's okay.

Congri, maduros y ropa vieja

I've been to this location once already and I'm not sure why I never reviewed it. I would pretty much say El Palacio de los Jugos is probably my favorite restaurant in all of Miami. It's definitely a must visit for me when I visit Miami. Staff is always friendly and it's the best value you can find. My got to is a large plate of arroz congri, ropa vieja with maduros. I used to order myself a large plate but now recently started sharing one with my wife and then I order myself a Cuban sandwich or media noche sandwich. The arroz congri is best I've ever had and the ropa vieja is very delicious. My go to drink here is usually their guayaba but this time my wife got guayaba and I ordered their Mamey both were phenomenal. Can't wait to come back!

Meal prep, anyone? Why spend so much time prepping your meals for the week when you can spend less than $20 at this El Palacio del Los Jugos and get ONE "Completa" combo meal and parse it out for 3 days worth of eating? Seriously, if you get one of their combo meals, the portion is enough for 3+ meals and SAVE TIME meal prepping for the week. I usually have a meal there and get one to go and portion it out for eating the rest of the week. The food tastes great and they give you more food than you can possibly eat for a few days. Take a look around. It's a great place to sit and try a few things. They have a smoothie line that's great. I really like the "Batido de Mamey" here. Mamey is really The King of Tropical Fruits. If you haven't had it, go for it. It has a very smooth tropical flavor that's unlike anything else. A must-have culinary experience. The ambiance is cafeteria like. They don't prepare your food to order, but they have so much volume that it's really all fresh. The only exception is if you choose an item that few people get, like "Tasajo". I would only get that protein option if you happen to be there when they bring it out. But the rest is great.

Food and more food. This place has a ton of items. Fresh food lines both side of this place. And there's also fresh juice. Grilled steak was flavorful rice has good flavor but need a little hot sauce to kick it up. Will definitely try other items in the near future.

Hole in the wall/cafeteria style Cuban food heaven! We ordered a variety of food including the chicharonnes, plantains, yuca, sausage as well as the mango and guanabana juices. Everything was delicious, fresh, and authentic. There's plenty of outdoor seating. The store also sells some Latin American produce. Most of the staff only speak Spanish so keep that in mind when ordering!

Detox Juice

This is a classic Miami spot that's always reliable. They have so many hot food options to choose from and everything is delicious. The prices are impossible to beat for lunch. The juices and smoothies come in every flavor and are very fresh. The staff makes you feel like you're family. If you go at peak lunch time it can be quite hectic, but doesn't hurt the overall experience. They also have some tables outside which is nice if it's not too hot out.

Another establishment that will go back to is this place! Lots of options to choose from! From seafood to lechon to chicarones and lots of juice options! I enjoyed my lechon, chicharones, cortadito, beans and yucca. Definitely a must. It's a bit of a drive from Miami Beach, but it's worth the drive. They open late too! Lots of seats everywhere. Staff are also friendly and will take their time explaining things to you. Make sure you pick up a number when you get in!

This an amazing place! It was introduced by one of my friends who is a local in Miami. Only locals goes there, and most of them speaks Spanish. Despite our ability to speak basic Spanish, they were very helpful & they won't even take advantage of you because you are a tourist. For example I gave an extra 1 cent for the sugar cane juice, the staff used the calculator to show me the exact amount for the sugar cane juice. They have several locations, we went to the one in Miami. The place is enormous with great Cuban food cafeteria style, I simply loved the vibes, all menus are in Spanish, that's how you know it is seriously authentic! A complete meal consist of a main & 2 sides. They offer many options of beef, pork, & seafood, the options are endless, so are the sides offered. I think you can go there several times & not have the same meal. They have Cuban sandwiches & empanadas plus a wide variety of juice, my favourite is the freshly squeezed sugar cane. It was so good that while we were in Miami, we went back there several times! Check it out & bring your Goggle Translate with you. You will not regret it!

Great authentic Cuban tasting food tons of it too . Juices r fresh and made I'd really fruit! Like 3 to 4 people can eat off one plate! Good customer service as well ! They stay busy grabbing a number soon as u walk in don't get memorized by all the good food first!

This is the "Manhattan deli" of Florida. The juice is off the charts and this particular location has a large cool outdoor seating area. Here I had the Mango. Which I think in retrospect I shouldn't have -- you can get that anywhere. The Mamey was a nice treat for a Northerner like myself. I also had the oxtail (amazing), the paella (amazing), the chicken and rice (good), and the bombas. If I go back I want to try the fish!

Ting W.

This place is busting with people in and out at all times. Parking is limited, but you can definitely find a quick place to park then grab a plate to-go. If you want fresh juice-inside on the right will be where your headed to with a variety of fresh juices listed on a billboard. Want a bang for your buck?- This place will be similar to a Cuban/Latin American cafeteria mall food. Grab a meat dishes paired with all the sides you want: fufu, rice, tostones, maduros, beans, yucca, etc. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Outside will have a cafe where you can get Cuban coffee or pastilles to go. Don't want a huge plate, but a Cuban sandwich. They got you! Come check it out!

I miss that rice all the food here has good seasoning.

There was literally dirt/mud at the bottom and I took my first bite and it felt like biting into sand. Upon spitting the food out onto my plate it was black sludge. Literally my tongue and teeth were black. The waiter came by and grabbed the plate when I was in the bathroom. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get that BLACK SLUDGE out of my mouth. When I was spitting out the dirt/mud wife noticed the bus boys laughing at me and there was not a manger in sight. When I asked for a manager he did not even respond. No apology or anything just a look of confusion. Worst experience in a restaurant in my life and I love to eat and have been to many types of restaurant big and small. Cheap and expensive and this one takes the cake. We were so bummed as I see thousands of great reviews. But if there was a zero I would have given zero stars the way they handled the situation. If you eat there in the future make sure to check for DIRT/MUD.

It is a great way to try a bunch of items. My friend and I also ordered the ropa vieja and the Cuban sandwich to share. The ropa vieja is life changing - order it, you will not be disappointed. So flavorful and tender! The cuban sandwich was also really good, but a bit cheesier than others I have had. There was a ton of live music happening in both the front and the back of the restaurant. Five of us ordered: 5 Cafecitos 1 Pan con Lechon 3 Pan con Bistec 1 Coladita 1 Timba Came out to $107.45 including a $10 tip. We already had a memorable Cubano sandwich so we explored other options. The Lechon was by far the crowd favorite flavor wise, but it is heavier with the pork fat. The garlic sauce is a must to help cut through the richness. We left supremely happy with the salty and garlicky fat flavors lingering on our tastebuds, rejuvenated by a quick shot of velvety espresso, and capped off with the sweet guava and tangy queso crema shake (La Timba). This location is nestled in a food court style area, with a few restaurants offering sit down table service as well. And when I say offering, the sales tactics are reminiscent of timeshare sales zombies standing in an idle state until you mistakenly stop for a BEAT and then it's game on for them. Luckily at Sanguich, they have a few dedicated seats and tables for themselves and they'll come drop your order for you. A little bit of a scavenger hunt to find it, but well worth the adventure. We ordered a ton, and right off the bat: if you love croquetas and empanadas, order extra. They're on the smaller side and come individually, but they are so good they disappear fast. The beef empanadas were a 10/10 perfectly seasoned and crispy. The chicken empanadas didn't hit the same for me, but the jamón croquetas? Absolutely insane. A must. For appetizers, the prawns al ajillo were delicious super flavorful and cooked perfectly. We also tried the grilled octopus, which was good, but not my favorite. It leaned a bit bland for my taste, even with the sauce. Now, the must-get: the carnitas with pickled onions. Easily one of the best dishes of the night so flavorful, tender, and perfectly balanced. For entrées, we had the ribeye steak and arroz con pollo, plus sides of tostones and yuca. Everything here delivered. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right not overly salty. The arroz con pollo was phenomenal, the kind of dish you could eat every single day. The tostones were crispy and tossed in garlic, which took the flavor to another level, and the yuca was melt-in-your-mouth good. I also ordered a mojito, which unfortunately was very watered down, I barely got any of that classic mojito flavor. Service overall was solid, especially considering how loud the restaurant gets it was honestly hard to hear each other at the table, so shoutout to our server for keeping everything straight. The appetizers came out quickly, back-to-back, which we loved. The only downside was the wait for the entrées they took quite a while after we finished the apps, even though we ordered everything at once. Overall, amazing food, great energy, and definitely worth going just be prepared for a lively (and loud) atmosphere.
