And like other Tacos Lagunas, they're open late every night. Located inside of the parking lot of Now and Forever Bissonnet (#2), it is the best situation for the late night crowd. Go get a drink inside Now & Forever, use the restroom, and then get a savory, piping hot taquito from the food truck. Famous for their combination tacos (lubary, tony, burrito toro), it's oddish menu likely signifies the truck isn't really all that Mexican. (#3) Their regular tiny tacos are the standard $1 each, with premium meats such as barbacoa, lengua, etc. that will sell for $2.50. Cash only. Their fiery salsa verde has excellent heat. It's the ideal complement for anything they serve. I have found success in their fatty barbacoa, solid campechano, and decent fajita. I would say no to their chicharron, which reminds me of the Guatemalan taco trucks with the charred meats, and the al pastor has a little too much food color dye. Apart from the tacos, everything is a crapshoot. The tortas, machetes, and gorditas don't seem to be particularly memorable.
