I just love this place. The decor is fabulous and cheerful. The food portions are extremely generous. The service is fine overall and it's a great value for the money. I am in town for work and the hotel's front desk clerk recommend this place! It was so very good! The food actually made me say yum! The salsa and chips were great! The salsa had kick! Waited about 15 min on a Sat night, not bad. Family of 5, 1 in a high chair. They brought ONE chip basket. ONE. We ordered cheese dip and were done with the basket before the cheese even came. They did bring more chips eventually but service was s-l-o-w. Salsa was good, not too hot. Cheese dip was okay. Very mild but the kids liked it. Baby liked the cheese dip and the salsa. I ordered the Burrito deluxe with chicken. Small burrito hidden by lettuce and sour cream but it was good. Came with rice and beans, good flavor. Interesting red sauce - not the normal I am used to, slightly sweet. Hubby got the same thing but with beef. He said he wished the burrito was bigger too, there was more rice and beans than burrito. It was $7.95 for each of those. Daughter ordered taco kids meal - chicken taco with rice and beans for $3.95. Drinks don't come with kids meals but they drank water so that wasn't a problem. Son ordered a chicken quesadilla. It came with lettuce and sour cream for $6.95. Would have preferred it came with rice and beans. Overall the food was good, the chips had just enough crunch and didn't break trying to dip. Woulda been nice if they were hot. The place was packed with people waiting. We were in and out within an hour for $32. Saw lots of people with huge looking margaritas and other alcoholic beverages so it must be a good place to drink if that's what you're in the mood for. Overall 3 stars for service, 4 for quality of food and 5 for fit our family budget. Will definitely go again, especially to try their lunch menu. read more

Ok well I'm from south Texas and i know good Mexican food and this is not good Mexican food the fajitas tasted like plain old tough meat with nothing on them and the waiter still didn't get my order right. The sweet tea was ok. Starting off you should ALWAYS get FREE chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant that is a must. The salsa was ok. And the chips were ice cold. read more

First let me say the food is decent and that's the only reason this restaurant gets two stars. My table had three adults and two children. Fifteen minutes after being seated we still hadn't seen a server. I walked to the counter and let them know we hadn't been seated or had drinks yet. Finally someone came, but without an apology. Then when our food came out it came in shifts. A minimum of two minutes between each others plates. So we were stuck sitting there starting at each other until finally we all had a plate. To make matters worse we had NO SILVERWARE! Customer service is terrible and there are better Mexican restaurants in town. Don't waste your money. read more

Friends told me this was a great place to go. I entered, and was immediately impressed with the decor - bright cheerful, solid (wooden) seating. Three people had walked in just before me and were seated almost immediately. I waited and looked forward to the good food and fair prices that my friends told me about. I waited. After about five minutes, another customer, heading to check out, pulled out a chair for me to sit, as my broken foot was throbbing by now. I waited to be seated. 2 servers,one of which had seated the people that entered before me, served drinks to customers, talked to one another, served chip, salsa, and took orders. I waited. I waved at the servers to get their attention. I was ignored. No one came and said they would be with me shortly. In all, I waited for over 15 minutes and was never approached. I don't know if it was because I was a single customer, which means a smaller tip, but I should not have been ignored. I am a former waitress, tip well, and know to make customers welcome, even if they can't be seated or served right away. I left, never having spoken to anyone, never having been acknowledged. Their food may be excellent. I don't know, because I couldn't even be seated after the lunch hour rush was over. read more
