We loved the atmosphere but the food and drinks not so much. My pork was very dry and my husband's ribs just fatty. My cocktail was pure sugar. Friendly service though, but really not worth it. No English spoken. read more

Walked there for dinner, nice off street with outdoor and indoor casual seating. Food is not Argentinian classic but healthy-ish, fresh, creative dishes. Wife had a shrimp/rice/vegetables wok dish, I had shrimp curry sauce/fettuccine dish, both EXCELLENT. Great break from empanadas and beef, LOL. If you've been to True Food in Merrifield, VA, or the old Park & Orchard in northern NJ, you'd love this place. Young staff English fluent and no rush or pushy upsell. Kept making sure we were happy, but not intrusive. By time we left, cool crowd waiting for outside seating, we were just as happy inside. Wish we had this near us at home! read more

Open early, open late open all the time. If you are a fan of sandwiches, this place is my favorite place that can pile fresh (which they pride themselves on) tasty ingredients between two slices of beautifully crafted pieces of bread on the planet. I stopped in for breakfast and came back the next day for lunch. Now if you could just move to Burlingame I would go for dinner. read more

Definitely not argentine food but El Mercadito is a fab spot to grab brunch or lunch. The menu consists of large salads, sandwiches and burgers and some other odds and ends. My friend tried the salmon and I had a pork sandwich served with fries. Waitstaff fluent in both English and Spanish. Great outdoor patio area if you can handle the heat, but some tables are in the shade. Food was good. A bit on the pricier side of things but given this is a tourist area of Mendoza it's expected. Lunch for two including drinks came to $250 pesos. read more

A great place for lunch (I dined here twice during my short stay). The sandwiches are great and the fresh juice, especially the beet and orange juice is amazing, almost better than the wine! read more

One of my favorites in Mendoza. The outdoor garden seating is delightful. Nice wine menu. Creative sandwich menu. Great place to hang out and enjoy the sun and a meal. read more
