2 Asada Tacos with Mayita sauce
Lida S.

Ladies were so kind and welcoming. Waiting for the food was definitely a challenge. I was on a lunch break and there was only one person ahead of me and that was it, but waited 20 mins for 2 tacos. However, when I opened up my taco, there was a strand of hair. Overall, I'll still come and support, but just make sure there's no hair please. They definitely fill up those tacos for you.

We like to have office lunches here on Fridays. The food has always been delicious and the service is speedy. The street tacos, quesabirria tacos and fish tacos are all delicious. I recently discovered their sopes and I love them! Order the gravy and queso, we always do and it's a crowd pleaser.

Waited about 30 mins for 6 tacos. Wish I took a picture of my tacos (3 tripa & 3 pastor); asked for tripa to be crispy but they were just soggy, mushy and oily too. Pastor tacos were just dry even when I loaded it with sauce and lime. Taco Side note- their tacos are $3.50 each! I didn't know about the price until I got my receipt because on the menu that's on their truck they cover it with black tape smh.

This is cook that can't read and missed my taco and added beans to my burrito

I hate to say it, but this truck has really gone downhill. They used to be my absolute favorite -- I would drive 45 minutes during COVID just to eat here. Every time I came to Stockton, I made sure to stop by for an al pastor and shrimp burrito because they were always so good and FAT. Today I drove from Lodi and left extremely disappointed. The cashier didn't charge me for my horchata, and the cook also missed a taco from my order. When I pointed it out, instead of acknowledging the mistake, he said, "She didn't charge you," even though she did -- I showed him the receipt. He then claimed it was the tax and tried to play it off like he was doing me a favor by giving me a taco "for free." Except... I paid for it. When I finally got my food, I took a bite of my burrito and found beans in it -- even though I specifically asked for no beans. On top of that, the burrito was noticeably smaller than what they used to serve. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Sadly, I won't be making the drive anymore.

I just had my son ordered 6 pork tacos 30 mins ago, sadly they were n a rush n didn't add any sauce like the usual. In this picture I ate two tacos n I was disappointed. Favors were bland n I paid $20 for these tacos. My pregnancy cravings ruined. I been to this truck many times n tonight is just my luck. Driving cross town was a waste. Everything is getting expensive so please don't b careless when making food to ur customers. This review is for the truck on March Lane!

Carne Asada

Solid, solid food truck. Located in the plaza of the 86 gas station, El Mayita serves delicious food for a decent price. Their super burrito is definitely big, can be shared with two people haha. I recommend the carne asada for a well rounded choice. The el pastor is amazing if you love the spice. Recommend getting the horchata here and their el mayita sauce. Its a tangy, green sauce that adds an amazing kick for your meal. The horchata is not too cinnamon-y and is the best roadtrip drink. They take cash only! And they also open late into the night so thats a plus too :)

Quesatacos - cheesy birria

Very good cheesy birria tacos. The meat and consume is on par with the best. The shells are also among the best. The size of the tacos are bigger than others that I've had. Excellent prices and well worth it. Recommend eating here for sure. Staff was very helpful and they new their menu without looking at it. Great service.

This place is probably the best in Stockton for Flavor, Quality, Cost, and Vibe as far as taco trucks go. We arrived around 8:30 and it was like a small block party, the parking lot was full and groups of families and friends were eating off their trunks or tailgates. Food was served up fast and stayed fresh for the 15 minute drive back home. Carnitas tasted homemade, extra crispy! Asada tasted so fresh it was almost gamey like lamb or non processed meats Chicken taco was the best I've ever had, same for my fiancé Pastor was delicious and not over powering The Serrano peppers they add in each box gives one hell of a kick too! Next time I'm trying the chicken quesadilla and horchata

I honestly loved coming to this truck so often during undergrad and grad school at UOP - my go-to is a chicken burrito with a horchata. Pros: - SO. FREAKING. GOOD. The food is delicious (best Mexican food in Stockton I think), and the horchata is the perfect amount of sweetness without going overboard - GREAT QUANTITY for your price! Full-on meal and you might have some leftovers. And their horchata cup got even bigger recently - Casual food truck vibes - plenty of parking, you can stand and eat at the truck if you want, my friends and I would try to park next to each other and sit on our trunks (literally I liked this place so much that I requested to come here for my birthday lol) Cons: - can get busy! And I think cash only?

Four stars mainly for their taste in food and preparation. Could have possibly been a five star if the young lady the window was more customer oriented. We stood waiting at the window to order. She said nothing to us until I asked if this is the correct window to place our order. Then she says yes it is, it'll just be a few minutes. She proceeded to restock cups and then we realized she was ALSO waiting i a customer from before, to return to pay the rest of his tab . So that alone called for a deduction in a star rating But going back to the food. Once our order for four was placed, it was ready fairly quickly. And tasted really good. This is a food truck that stays busy all times of the day and is located right off of the freeway and shares a parking pair with a 76 gas station. They have been here for awhile now.

Came all the way to Stockton for this truck specifically! Their shrimp burritos seemed to be well known, but had to go for the al pastor burrito with cheese. I loved how they grilled the tortilla and my only complaint was too much meat! Not something you'd hear from a taco truck often! They also made my order perfectly, no beans, sour cream, and cilantro! The red onions were different. The horchata was super strong, but as the ice melted, it mellowed out and was delicious. I like how they have a refill option for $2 too!

Coctel de Cameron y pulpo

I ordered a shrimp cocktail w/ octopus, along with a Wednesday burrito special. The cocktail was well stocked with shrimp and octopus. The taste was spot on. The burrito didn't disappoint. The servers were helpful. The dining area is a good size with plenty of booths and a large screen tv in the wall.

Then she went back to the back to talk to cooks some more, finally began to take our order then said she needed to take a call from her boss because they were having issues with printer. Had us wait more time, she went to the back again came back to register played with device to try to reset it all to then tell us they couldn't serve us. Complete waste of our time. Every time we have been here there has been so sort of issue. As a side note they rip customers off too- I like to add my own salsa so I always ask for it on the side and I've been charged for it even though I don't want extra just would normally come with food but I have seen cashier give customers dining in more salsa at counter after getting their food without charging them. It's like they just add random charges and sneak extra money out of customers getting food to go without even letting one know of the extra charges. So please be aware if you choose to take your chances here.

Once the ice melted a bit, I found it to be just right. The tacos were good, I would get them again. I liked that the meat wasn't too fatty as I tend to pick out the fatty parts before I eat them. We ordered 10 tacos de trompo (pastor), $3 each. The tacos (5/5) are served plain with a pineapple on top so you can put what you want on it at the salsa bar (5/5). They have a good variety at the salsa bar. The cucumbers were fresh and the salsas were flavorful. They recommended the guacamole salsa (green). For bevs we ordered the aqua fresca cucumber with lime (5/5). The ambience is that of a typical taco truck, just no tables for dining. It's located on a busy street with cars passing. We ate in the car and were tempted to order more tacos. We'll be back again!

It's a cute little spot with a walk-up window and a few benches outside to sit and eat, though there isn't any indoor seating. Since it was so hot out, we ordered a few asada tacos, a sope, and the asada fries to take home and share. The tacos were solid, and I really liked the mild green salsa. The sope was pretty good too. While the asada fries tasted good, they were just okay overall. They looked significantly skimpier than the photo they're using on one of the sandwich boards out front. The toppings were pretty sparse, but the flavor itself was good. Overall, it was a perfectly fine dinner. I don't know that we'll be back, but I'm glad we gave it a try.

They also weren't as nice looking as the photos on the sandwich boards they have out front. The sope was decent. I had high expectations for the asada fries but was a little disappointed when I opened the styrofoam container and the quantity of fries and asada toppings were less than expected. The asada fries were tasty though. I'd come back to order that. The prices seem cheap-ish and reasonable. There are a few long tables out front to eat, but most people seemed to get their food to go.
