Hadn't had Salvadorian food in so long. Loved. Thank you. Great service and food. Will be back .

The pupusas were so delicious, I ordered to go and when I got there they were super warm and freshly made. The staff was super friendly, the place is not fancy but if you love a good hole in the wall type of spot this is it!

The food is hands down the BOMB, all the food is made FRESH as it's ordered. Every time we are in the area, we come here! My husband is Salvadorian and we know good papusas when we come across them and this place has the BEST papusas in the area ! The slaw and red sauce for the papusas is so tasty too, they also give you a spicy jalapeño topping for the papusas that is delicious. Their breakfast huevos, frijoles, platano, avocate con crema y queso was soo good! Staff is super friendly. It's a small place but the food is well worth the wait if there is any. My husband also loved the baleada and I loved the tamal del alote, super tasty. I wish this place was closer to Wesley Chapel because we miss having a piece of home close by.

The Pupusas are the best in the city. They have a great menu and everything is very tasty. The beef tripe stew (mondongo) is Really good!! But served only on alternating Saturdays so call ahead and get their early.

    Delicious!

Really delicious pupusas, and I'm picky. The bean and cheese pupusas were my favorite! If you don't like waiting, order before hand so that the food is ready when you get there. My mom had the beef soup and loved it.

Great Salvadoran food but the service is pretty slow. The pupusas are on point with flavor.

No fancy décor, no overdone plating--just honest, soul-warming food the way abuelita would make it. We ordered a few pupusas revueltas and they were thick, cheesy, and crispy at the edges--just how you want 'em. Each bite was loaded with flavor, and they didn't skimp on the fillings either (respectfully, some of y'all out there are serving tortillas with trust issues). The curtido came bagged up and packed with crunch and tang--exactly what you need to cut through that melted cheese goodness. Prices are humble, portions are generous, and while it may be a small spot, the flavors are huge. Whether you're a pupusa purist or just learning what curtido even is--this little cafeteria deserves a big spot on your food map. Bonus points: you'll leave full, happy, and maybe even planning your return trip before you've finished your last bite.

When I pulled up, I wasn't sure if they were open or closed, but as soon as I walked in, the cashier greeted me right away. Starting off strong with great customer service. I ordered the quarter dark with fries, a Sprite, and of course the yellow sauce. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the fries were solid, and that yellow sauce tied it all together perfectly. The only miss? My fountain Sprite was flatter than a crepe -- definitely a sign the spout needs changing. I was this close to grabbing a slice of tres leches cake, but I had just finished an ice cream cone from McDonald's, so I had to show a little restraint. Overall, my craving was satisfied -- and that's what counts. Thanks, Cuenelli's!

Super friendly staff and a cute space with plenty of seating. Specializing in rotisserie chicken, they really know what they're doing here! Everything we had was absolutely delicious. A ton of flavor, fresh, and light to eat so much without feeling stuffed. The half chicken and Cuenellis Special gave us a perfect mix of everything the menu offers. The steak over the cilantro rice with an egg is a flavor combo I love. The yuka fries and plantains were cooked perfectly. I also really loved both sauces that came with our meals.

I could have done an alcoholic drink, but I decided to go easy and take the passion fruit juice with milk (5.50) instead. It had a light flavor, but still pretty good. It was a bit too heavy with the milk. Almost like a smoothy. For my entree, I took the grilled shrimp with rice and vegetables as my sides (20 dollars). For the price, the portions were quite generous. 12 pieces of small grilled shrimp with a large amount of rice and ample amount of veggies. The shrimp was sadly a little overdone as it got a bit rubbery and hard to take out from the skewer. But it was flavored nicely. The vegetables were more enjoyable as it was steamed and seasoned nicely. The rice was fine. Since there was a good amount of food, I took some back to my hotel room. I skipped dessert as I was getting too full. The service was good and friendly. It seemed to be a family restaurant as there looked to be just 3 servers and maybe a chef or two in the kitchen. The dining area is pretty small and can get cramped, but there was a live singer singing Spanish Latin songs and getting the crowd energized. Outdoor seating is available as well. Bathroom was outside and you need a key to get in. Unfortunately, the cow at the entrance was a not safe to mount, but the mini donkey next to it didn't mind a silly cowboy to sit on it for a quick photo op. For the price paid, Monseratte offers decent food and generous portion for the price. It is very casual and quite small, but if you go at the right time, you can enjoy some live music as well. I will visit them again maybe for lunch next time I am in the Tampa area. Overall: B

I've only had Argentinian-style milanesa before, and I can easily say I liked the Teresita style better. The marinara sauce on the milanesa brings enough acidity to cut through the grease from the fried meat -- the meat is thin and crispy, but not at all dry. The fries and yellow rice make the meal an absolute steal based on the amount of food you get. My friend had the fried fish, which looked delicious -- excited to try it myself next time. Will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

I ordered takeout at lunchtime expecting something fresh and satisfying. The Cuban sandwich was the biggest letdown. They try to get slick by loading you up with slices of ham while giving you very little pork, when the pork should be the star. I even left specific notes on the order: no salami and add mustard. Somehow, they still left a piece of salami in there and didn't put any mustard at all. A Cuban sandwich without mustard? I don't know. It was so bad I had to take both halves of the sandwich and move all the pork onto one side just to make it resemble something decent. There was one tiny slice of pickle. Don't take my word for it--check the pictures. That's why I always include them. The soup? It reminded me of Lipton soup. No knock if you like that, but this was basically Lipton soup with grease. As for the coffee, it was takeout coffee, so I can't even complain too much. I got it to wake me up, but honestly... after this meal, I should have just stayed sleeping. Overall, really disappointing given the expectations.
