The gardens around the property are wonderful, the service is excellent, and overall it's a great spot in Fortín. We had an excellent breakfast at the restaurant here. I had the huevos tirados, a Veracruzano special and they were soooo good. They also brought us fruit and bread with their homemade jams, which included flavors like pineapple coconut, guava, papaya with pineapple, and strawberry. They were all so good but that pineapple coconut will sit in my memory forever - just, WOW. Such a great spot, highly recommend.

Of course I had to get a churro, which for me was aa revelation. I'm used to the churros that you can buy on the subway platforms in NYC, which are soft and greasy. The ones here were crispy and light. I had mine with cajeta, a Mexican caramel sauce. Excellent, excellent, excellent.
