The fish with mango is great, as is the pasta with seafood. There are good vegetarian options as well. Everything is local, fresh, and savory. The restaurant is next to a river in the countryside. Very relaxing place to eat and hangout. The service is wonderful and the owners are extremely nice people. Also, for some reason they only served it with 8 chips, so I requested more - and they gave me just 10 chips more - which still wasn't really enough for the amount of guacamole they gave me - so they gave me more like 20 chips the third time I asked. The mole was good - but not the best that I have had here in Mexico. I didn't try any of my partners Menudo soup but it looked very filling with the thick fatty broth and organ meats in it. He seemed to like it. The appetizer was good but we had better tostadas at other places and it was a little too salty. They did not provide an itemized checklist of everything we ordered on the receipt but the cost, which was around 275 with the tip included, felt reasonable for the amount of food we ordered. I would still have preferred a professional receipt that listed the items we ordered for my records rather than a handwritten number on a piece of paper. They also only accept cash which they don't tell you until you already order.
