Beautiful views from their second floor outdoor seating of the city from one side and a great small seating area on the other looking over the ocean. The restaurant is great for lunch and most of their items on their menu are below 8000CLP, aside for some pricier dishes. The vibes are perfect to enjoy for both the day and night vibes. My friend and I ate the Mechada Jugoso burger which was super tasty and I had a strawberry basil smoothie which was very refreshing. Sitting on the couches on a clear day is incredible and it will leave you wishing to just sit and read a book. Overall, the view for the prices is totally worth it! read more

Location In Cerro Allegre in the midst of shopping, restaurants, etc. Food This is a burger place. I had the bunless Internado burger with onion rings and it was pretty good. Cocktails were good but a bit pricier than other places. 2nd floor seating is outside and offers really nice views of Valparaiso. Atmosphere/decor Casual, bar type of atmospher Service Service was fine. Service in Chile is a bit less attentive than what we are accustomed to in the United States, but no problems here. Stopped by here for a quick drink with friends. The space is so cool!! We wish we could have stayed longer. We sat outside on the upstairs terrace, overlooking all the hills covered in colorful homes and buildings. It was an awesome view to take in while having a round of drinks. Our server was nice and spoke a little bit of English. Would definitely come back here and maybe try the food next time. read more

This place is a hidden gem in Valparaiso. I absolutely loved it here. I didn't have alot of time to spend since I stopped at 2 wineries otw here, but if you come to Valparaiso, you should stop here. I only had a coffee with milk, but its great to see an open kitchen where u can see ppl cooking your food. The atmosphere is nice & its very modern for sure. If you sit at the bar, you can see to the top of the city. I will definitely come back here again. :-) read more

Tried to have lunch in hotel Fauna but the terrace with view on the ocean was full, except for one place in full sun. No thank you. A little disappointed I left, but not wanting to start a new Yelp search I decided to go straight into the place in front of it. I had not found it on Yelp so I had no reference, but hey, let's try something new. Entering the spacious place I chose a table, with a not bad view. The waiter arrived and asked me if I would not like to sit on the terrace one floor up with a really great view? Of course, I did not mind. Having enjoyed the ocean views in Tulli and Concepcion, this view, entirely over the old town was the most stunning. I went for a selection of the tapas, taking the Tartaro di filete, the Camarones on toast and the Camembert with chutney. Together abundant but all three were absolutely delicious. The service was prompt and polite. The view was gorgeous, I was just in the shadow with the old town in the bright sunlight, a little breeze and 25C summer weather. Live was perfect. Later I find the El Internado Facebook page. Turns out it is owned by the owner of hotel Fauna and the large space is also frequently used for photography and other expositions. read more

At Le Internado they serve mainly hamburger and some tapas. We enjoyed a Camembert and burgers. I tried the vegetarian quinoa burger which was very delicious. I can recommend this hipster fancy place, if you are into interior and having dinner with a view. The waiters were nice and easy going and the food was served very quickly. read more

Beautiful terrace views of Valparaiso meet tourist trap at this mediocre eatery. The open air layout is nice to enjoy on a crisp, seaside day, but waiting for 40 min for an overcooked cheeseburger is not how you should be enjoying the views. Although they try to create a sleek, modern ambiance, they cannot hide behind their facade of large glass windows and an all black interior for long as there is nothing sleek about bad service and overpriced, over-celebrated pub food. I would highly urge you to check out one of the many other amazing restaurants in this district (like cocina puerto), and not waste your time or money at this less-than-spectacular spot. read more

This place had a lot of hype and it is actually a nice place and has a good ambience, but the service is very slow, our waitress was borderline rude. They serve a good portion of food, but it is just alright. We had the fish, the lomo, and then shrimp appetizer as a full portion. The prices are not too bad for a meal, compared with other restaurants in the city, but it does seem a little overpriced considering the mediocre quality and bad service. I am not sure I would recommend this place. I guess try it and see. It took me about 10 minutes to have the bill brought to me. Then another 5 to bring the credit card machine. I was at the point to just pay the bill and not pay the suggested service charge, however the waitress came back just in time. read more
