I've been on the hunt for some good churros but also one that isn't too far away. Recently, I have been seeing this churro cart on my way home and I was so intrigued. I finally tried it today and it did not disappoint! I got the original churro because the fillings tend to make it a tad too sweet. The churros are made FRESH to order so you're definitely going to get a piping hot churro. The churros were so CRISP and even stayed crispy once it cooled down. The center was soft with a nice crust outside and didn't become stale! They were also generously dusted with cinnamon sugar and the best part is that they weren't too sweet ^__^! Service was 5/5 for me, despite what other reviews have said. The owner was super sweet and friendly! Cash and Zelle are accepted. There is some parking to the right side of the cart but it is limited (fits 4-5 cars)! Street parking is available but also limited. read more

The churros were okay, but the customer service was seriously lacking. Given the name "El Gueritos Churros Rellenos," I expected they might speak Spanish. But even if they didn't, that's fine -- I can speak English too. Here's what happened: I approached the truck and greeted the girl in Spanish, asking how much the churros were. She responded in English without even a "hello," which was fine, so I switched to English. When I asked about the flavors, she just pointed to a sign on the truck and said, "It's there." No further explanation, no friendliness. Then, I didn't have cash and asked if they accepted Venmo. She said yes. The app asked for the last four digits of their phone number, so I asked her for them. Again, she just pointed to the truck and said, "It's there." It would've been so much easier and more courteous if she had just told me. To top it off, because the interaction was taking longer than it should have, people started lining up behind me. Then a guy, who I assume was the owner, asked the person behind me for their order while I was still trying to pay, making me feel rushed and ignored. I wouldn't have minded if they helped the people behind me because I was taking too long, but that could have been avoided if the girl had actually assisted me instead of just pointing things out. The whole experience would have been much better with just a little warmth and courtesy. Just a little effort in customer service goes a long way. As I seen another person comment on this vendor never being at the spot when it says his business is open. I went a little bit after their stated business hours, drove around everywhere and nothing. As I was leaving I seen the truck pulling up with the cart in the back. Ok cool, I'll back in an hour or so, let them set up and do there thing. Mind you, I called them earlier on my way over there for a 20 minute drive and no answer. I come back well within business hours and certain I was going to see them because i had seen him driving to his spot where ever that was because when I arrived to the so called spot, nothing. I drove around all the little neighborhoods there and called the number twice only for them ignore my call. Like wtf, I speak Spanish, are you scared because you think it's someone going to speak English to you!?!? Give me a freaking break!!! So I drive all the way back home super disappointed and go back to my Facebook messages to let him know that he and his establishment SUCK! Then proceeds to blow up my phone. Like really???? Hubby n i were craving churros on a Friday afternoon.. called around a few churro cart / truck guys and found El Guerito's in a school event in Campbell. When we reached the school he recognized me with my voice from the call i made!! He greeted us and gave a complimentary churro for making a trip to Campbell :) we loved the chocolate and caramel churros.!! They were big, fat and super crunchy!! I still can't believe this is the case, but Eduardo initially agreed 2 months ago that he can be at my event that is in 11 days. Then TODAY he tells me he cannot be there. He only told me after I reached out to him regarding the final head count, which he told me I should give him 10 days before the event. He wrote one simple text that he cannot be there and then ignored all of my follow up texts, phone calls, and emails since. First of all, I was not even planning on leaving a review on your unprofessional service for my engagement event. Since you felt it necessary to post my first and last name on a previous review not made by me here we go... please beware when booking with this man. See the screenshot below from March. We were set for 2 hours unlimited. You were self admittedly there for an hour and twenty minutes. You were rude upon arrival because you forgot to mention to me that you needed a parking spot reserved. Our taco vendor mentioned this and had a spot in the driveway, as you saw. You setup, served and took everything down by 7:18pm. Guests were shocked you stayed so little and when you approached me about payment I did not have the energy to deal with you which is why I paid you in full. Yes you left maybe 40 churros in an aluminum tin but as noted in the text below you did not honor what we had agreed on. You did however enjoy the margarita that was offered to you by the previous person who posted. I would rather pay twice as much and get what I agree upon, lesson learned. read more

I was at on event this weekend and had the most amazing churros El Guerito's Churros they were very clean and the churros were a lot different then the other ones that I had tasted before the filling are great and the area is very clean. Eduardo and His wife came one time and had uniforms and hat on. gloves, so it made you feel like you were safe i would highly recommend them because of the great taste and the clean area. the table was very well set up. read more
