We observed them greet,help and say have a good good day to numerous others. One staff had to pass over me and did not even say excuse me. At one point I was interested in purchasing an auction figure from the case however no one seemed interested in the sale.This encounter was not welcoming. It's one of those antique shops where every booth feels completely different, so you're constantly stopping like "wait... what is this?" in the best way. There's a really good mix of vintage, nostalgic, and just plain random finds that somehow all work together. It doesn't feel picked over or overpriced, which makes it way more fun to actually browse. I didn't buy anything this time, but I definitely could have. I also loved the little bookstore inside called The Headless Librarian. It's tucked in there and feels super cozy, like its own little hidden corner. If you're even slightly a book person, you'll get pulled in. Also, if you grew up in the 80s or 90s, be prepared to get emotionally attacked by toys you forgot existed. I found a She Ra doll and had a full moment like I ran into someone from my childhood. Super fun, low pressure place to wander around and just get out of your head for a bit. I'll definitely be back.

Well, where do I start???…read more Prices... any shoes is either $14.99 , $19.99 or more. Other thrift stores I can find shoes for $4.99 and mostly $6-$8. Exceptions for boots that go up to $15. Jewelry way overpriced. $6.99, $7,99, but mostly $8.99 fir junk, faded, ugly jewelry. In other thrift stores I pay from $1.50-$3.00 for jewelry. Also their furniture is pretty expensive...just saw a foldable guest bed for $99 (what I think should be sold at $25-$35 tops)... You get the idea... It's all for a good cause but the good cause of people who can't afford is not there. It was turning me away from Magic The Gathering because I was starting to think that's what it was like. But here at Geek World? The people act normal. They're talking, joking, and having fun. The employees are chill and a joy to interact with. You can find a few groups playing every day even outside of events. Friday Night Magic is incentivized to be extra friendly because instead of a prize pack, the first person to take combat damage gets a promo pack. With nobody pulling out all the stops to win, games are balanced and fair. Honestly, this place reignited my desire to play by completely changing the environment in which I do so for the better.
