When I saw this places name, I was like BROOO I can get BOTH. Not only was it very close to my house, but there was no wait at my 4pm arrival on a Thursday afternoon. During the oil change, they noticed I needed brakes and an alignment which I agreed to. They did a great job despite me not having the wheel locks to my car. The employee was kind enough to show me the universal key which I would have to buy online to be able to unlock the lug nuts on my rims. They cleaned my car pretty well and made it easy for this stop to be a comprehensive one-stop shop for car maintenance that I really appreciate being so close to home. Everyone was really nice. Their waiting room was clean and the service was on point. I really appreciate when they take their time to explain what I need and why I need it which is a huge plus in my book. I'll certainly come back when I'm short on time for my next oil change and can't venture out to my usual mechanic. They're quick, priced well, and open until 6pm for those looking to make a stop on their way out of work.

Jorge helped me and said I was the first customer there so the wait shouldn't be too bad. They called me at about 8:15 and said I would need a new battery in addition to the oil change. I told them to go ahead and then called me at 9:10 to say my car was ready to be picked up. I would definitely recommend making an appointment and showing up early. But I found them to be timely and the prices to be pretty standard. The employees at the front desk also speak English very well. I've been mostly satisfied with this business. Even though I look like a kid, I did not get the…read moreimpression that they were trying to rip me off and they didn't treat me like I didn't know anything. They seem to be understanding of people that want to do work on cars themselves and they do not try to upsell you. I remember having walked in with a flywheel and asked them to resurface it for me. The cost was $40. The standard around the country, and a good price. I also had a bolt that been broken inside one of the holes and they offered to take it out for $10. The headache of buying an extractor and drilling it out myself was not worth it. They told me it was going to be ready next week because the machinist was out, but I got a call about an hour later that the flywheel was ready to be picked up. I was really happy that I didn't have to wait. Oh yeah, no taxes or hidden fees. A flat $50. Another time I needed to have a spot on an oil pan welded. Because it was aluminum, I couldn't do it myself and so a special welder was needed. I should have asked how much it would be but I didn't. Turns out they went over and beyond what I needed. Cleaned the oil pan, welded it, sprayed some paint to protect it from rust, and it looked like brand new. But it was just an oil pan that I didn't need to be all fancy. I guess they needed to make money somehow because welding a tiny hole would have not made any money and they didn't want to completely rip me off either. So they charged me $80 which was a bit high for me but I am sure would have been a decent price for anyone that doesnt mind spending that much. In the end, I got my oil pan done the same day, I didn't have to buy a welder or pay for welder labor, and my oil pan has not leaked ~3 years later so in the grand scheme of things, it paid off. They are very old school cubans. No-nonsense. Remind me of my family. You will not get ghetto cuban marielito slang talk from them. Don't be worried about emailing them and not getting a reply because they are a mechanic shop with old mechanics. You will get a reply with an estimate the same day or the next. Just provide the appropriate information.
