The pasta at Miti Di Palma was exceptional and the service could not have been better. Antonio was our host and he was very kind and attentive throughout the evening. We had a delicious caprese salad and two of the best pasta dishes I have ever tried. My wife had the carpaccio (I may be mixing up that name) and I requested the tagliatelle. Both plates were perfectly done with al dente noodles and just the right amount of rich, mouth-watering sauces. Personally, this was one of my favorite pasta dishes ever! Antonio was very kind to chat with us, share stories, and help me practice my broken Spanish (and Italian!). He offered us a limoncello after the check that was soooo tasty (but also strong; watch out!). In summary, come here for the food and enjoy the great service when you arrive. Anyways... the menu seems like they'd have some good options since we were craving fresh, local seafood, and some good drinks. Drinks - I wanted something with a little kick to it in hopes of getting a buzz before my return to the beach, so I went with the Mai Tai. It was possibly the weakest Mai Tai I've ever drank. I'd expect them to be a little more liberal with the pours for a ~10 or ~12 euro drink! Back home in the states, I never have this problem, so this was dissapointment #1. My wife ordered a frozen strawberry daquiri, which was overly sweet (again - not enough booze for what they charge), and gave her a stomach ache. Food - The server disappeared for a while after we ordered the drinks, so we had plenty of time to look over the menu. It was a decent size and many things sounded good, but the one thing we wanted to try most (the wings) were out of stock. This would have been nice to know and should have been mentioned when we were handed our menus. To avoid waiting another 15-20 mins, I immediately jumped to a back-up option of the chicken skewers with coconut chili sauce... chicken was dry, and the sauce was not flavorful. The patatas bravas were not bad, but not good either -- the sauce needed more spice/flavor. The Sunshine sushi roll was a joke. Literally 4 small pieces. Tasted OK, but such a tiny portion and not priced accordingly. The King prawns with avocado and tomato salad weren't that big. The prawns were tasty, but the avo/tomato salad was pathetic, no seasoning at all. Wouldn't come back, and don't recommend trying here to others either. Drive into downtown, or take your chance at one of the neighborhood German places I suppose.

We decided to walk around this beautiful beach strip and see what's around. Next thing you know, we land the jackpot at Mama Muú where we have our very first meal in Mallorca. WOW WOW WOW I have officially discovered and been introduced to my new addiction: alioli and pan con tomate. The first one became my weapon. I became more and more addicted as the days went by, so much so, I had to stay away haha. We had such a pleasant dinner here tapas style and enjoyed some wine, pan con tomate, cheese, patatas bravas, peppers and all the delicious stuff you can imagine. The bread is served warm so it's even more addicting. It was such a memorable and special first experience at Mallorca and our meals only got better and better from here.
