I ordered via Door Dash and ordered Shrimp pasta with garlic bread. The pasta a nice al dente, with a creamy, and buttery Alfredo sauce. The shrimp was properly cooked, not rubbery at all. However this is all ruined by the really loud music. I can understand if this was Friday or Saturday but this was on Thursday. We came as a group and we couldn't hear ourselves talk. We had to text each other to get talk. Mind you we were the only group here that evening. When we asked the DJ to lower the music so we can chat and enjoy the music/hookah/ drinks he simply ignored us. This was a turn off and we left early as a result. Also this place is Cash only FYI. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was amazing, and they truly helped make my mom's birthday celebration one to remember. To all the chefs working on a Sunday afternoon -- BIG UP YOURSELF! Every single meal that came out of that kitchen was absolutely delicious. We started with the Sweet Chili Wings, and they were flavorful and perfectly sauced just the right amount of sauce, with the added spinach giving it an extra touch. We then ordered the Land Lover for my mom. The portion was generous and beautifully presented in a large margarita glass. My sister ordered the four-piece Lamb Chop Rasta Pasta, which was creamy, rich, and well-seasoned.I ordered the Jerk Chicken meal, and I truly enjoyed it. The grilled jerk chicken was fresh, well-seasoned, and cut to perfection. It came with rice and peas and a fresh salad everything came together beautifully. Everything was phenomenal! Our drinks were good, the food was delicious, and the overall experience was wonderful. We did wait a little longer than normal for our food, but honestly, the quality and flavor made up for the wait. You can't rush perfection! A special thank you to the entire staff and the DJ for helping make my Mother's birthday celebration so memorable. Velvet Room, thank you for giving us an experience we won't forget.

Everything was really good except the collard greens, which were extremely salty for my palette, I couldn't eat them. I was happy to see a good food establishment in the neighborhood. I would definitely be returning to try other items on the menu

BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE! If you are looking for a nice…read moreplace to celebrate, have dinner or go just for a drink. STAY FAR FROM Flava. My niece went there last night to celebrate an accomplishment. There were only 7 other customers there. It took 25 mins for the waitress to come and acknowledge she and her guest. They asked how big the burger was because it could be small sliders (a legitimate question), the waitress asked the bartender (maybe manager) and came back with, "Big enough to feed your belly". Very disrespectful to say this and even worse for the waitress to repeat it to A PAYING CUSTOMER (or anyone) who was nothing but respectful to her even after the DISRESPECT. Also, After taking only two sips of the drink, which was mostly whipped cream, she asked to exchange it for something else because it wasn't good. I was told that I had consumed too much of it for a return, even though whipped cream melts and turns into liquid. If you're looking for a restaurant where customers are belittled, disrespected, and treated as though they don't matter, this is the place to go. I was extremely disappointed with both the drink and the customer service.
