It was a little on the pricey side, but overall it was an enjoyable time. We had to reschedule the first date we chose because it was windy and pouring down rain. The second date was perfect weather. We were picked up at the resort and driven quite far to a smaller marina in north Cancun. The boat was older and pretty basic. We did like the fact that it was a smaller group - maybe 20 total people. We stopped half way to Isla Mujeres and snorkeled for 15-20 minutes. We saw quite a few fish and a manta ray. When we got back on the boat, we were handed a paper bag with an apple and either a chicken burrito or a ham and cheese sandwich. No chips or anything. Drinks were included and while they were pretty tasty, there could not have been much alcohol in them. We decided to walk and shop on Isla Mujeres, checked out the beautiful beach with clear water, then sat at a restaurant on the beach to wait for the return trip. Three hours was too long for us on the island, but I guess if you rented a golf cart or taxi, it might have been fine. Overall, we felt it was priced a little high for the overall experience. But we did enjoy ourselves, nonetheless.

The boat ride was a great time and they kept you entertained. The lunch buffet was not bad at all and you could go up as much as you wanted. The snorkeling was fun but if you do get tired out there they will come out to get you to bring you back to the boat. The private beach was a great time but I will warn you there are people out there trying to sell you things. Along with the chairs on the beach are not free you do have to pay for them. The price of the tour was very reasonable and easy to book.

When we first started planning our trip to Mexico we had one thing in mind - whale sharks…read more After using another review website I stumbled upon Jorge and his services. The main reason I went with Jorge was his website. It was super easy to prebook and prepay for our whale shark snorkeling trip. The day started out great. After receiving breakfast at the dock we split into two groups on two boats. Although the entire group of ~20 people could have easily fit on one of the boats Jorge explained that he liked to keep the group smaller and not stress out the whale sharks. After about an hour we found them. The groups in the water were limited to 2 people with a guide. Our boat had two guides so maximum 6 people in the water from our boat at a time. This allowed us to get great pictures without having others in our shots, as well as keeping the whale sharks calm. After a few hours with them, and the occasional manta ray that swam by as well, we headed back to shore, slowly trawling for fish and eating some sandwiches that were provided. We managed to catch two bonitos (which are in the tuna family) which were quickly added to our freshly made ceviche when we reached the beach. As the ceviche was prepared we snorkeled around a small beach and enjoyed the rest of the day. Honestly, this was one of the most amazing days of my life. Another couple on the boat who had more time on the island got off and immediately booked with Jorge to go again. Jorge and his crew were absolutely phenomenal and you can tell they care about their customers as well as the sharks themselves. When it's not whale shark season Jorge is happy to customize any other trip you make be looking for - snorkeling, fishing etc....although it's clear fishing is one of his true passions.

Still a great experience to be in the water with such magical creatures.

At the Xenotes Tour, you get to enjoy four cenotes plus different activites at each: Ziplining, Snorkeling, Rappeling, Kayaking, Inner Tubes, and Cliff Jumping. There's also a photographer that is with us throughout the whole time capturing pictures of everyone in our group. They also provided two meals, the first one was pastries and beverages (water, soda, hot chocolate, and coffee) and the last one was a full on buffet spread (salad, cheese, meats, bread, water, soda and beer). Our tour guide, Manny was amazing and he made the trip very memorable. He was very helpful with my mother in law and my little son. He guided the group from beginning to end and made the trip to all four cenotes a breeze. We all had a fantastic time and we even purchased the pictures at the end. Aside from the photographer, I recommend bringing a water case for your phone and a GoPro! We got so many amazing videos with my husband's GoPro. I cannot express how fun this excursion was and would definately do it again. Tips: Wear a swimsuit, water shoes and comfortable clothing on the bus and for after. Towels are provided. Bring cash to tip your tour guide for an amazing time. The cenotes are located in the middle of the jungle so cell phone service is not available.

We ordered the package with food and the chef had snacks ready for us when we got to the dock. He cooked the rest of lunch while we set sail to Isla Mujeres. They served us drinks And helped us get some good photos in. Cons: Only one real con. My only suggestion is to make sure you make your final payment through PayPal or with cash the day of your excursion. There is no WiFi at the dock and I ended up having to pay via credit card which was an additional $50+ dollar fee, even though I was going using his iPad. Had I known in advance I would've just logged into my paypal account, but didn't realize until it was too late. He didn't communicate that part well. Other than that one issue, there really were no other issues. I highly recommend this company! I will be using them anytime we return to Cancun/Riviera Maya
