They suggested about 3 or 4 contractors. All of them gave me estimates for the aforementioned. A maintenance person stated that he knew an engineer that does good work. I asked the engineer to re-grout one shower stall. I saw that his employee did not remove all the old grout. He just placed new grout on top of the old grout. The engineers reasoning was because the employee could not remove the grout, because it was hard like cement. The engineer also stated that I would have to remove all the tiles anyways, so what he was doing was just temporary. I just wanted to see the workmanship of his employee. When I told my aunt what happened, she referred me to the contractor that built her house that was designed by Architect Antonio (one of the top ten architects in the Philippines). When I contacted Madrigalejos Construction Services, I was pleasantly surprised that he would be able to help me with my project. Joseph Madrigalejos was the only person that told me that I did not have to do waterproofing. He stated that I only had to re-grout my tiles with epoxy, and that should maintain a seal. He also told me that I did not have to remove the cracked tiles, because they could just fill the cracks with epoxy. I was elated when he told me that I did not have to remove the tiles that were slowly lifting off the walls. If I had to do that, I would have had to remove all the shower tiles, waterproof, and install new tiles. Instead, he could inject something in between the tiles and wall that would fill the gaps. Then, the shower stall would only have to be re-grouted. Since he saved me a nice amount of money, I asked him to change a toilet, bathroom fixtures, kitchen faucet and install bidets in all the restrooms. Finding an honest contractor is like having to find an honest mechanic. Once I find that special company, that is the only company that I'll be using. Madrigalejos Construction Services is the only company that I'll be referring people to if they need a handyman, plumber, electrician, or need someone to build their dream house.

I received this because i demanded a copy since i paid for it. I told them ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, my excitement of doing renovations gradually turned into anger and frustration, day by day. I now have to pay a different company to finish the project. Very dissapointing because i am Canadian who only comes here occasionally. TGR does not listen to customers desires, they propose only what they feel and think. It was a struggle to communicate with them. I saved all my chat, and even though they acknowledged everything we discussed, they never provided me what was agreed on. Even when i reminded them about things discussed, they would promise corrections in the design, but never delivered. It has been one of the worst experiences of my life and it tested my patience to the max. TGR was less expensive for design fees, but the saying goes :YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. If you want discounted rates, expect to receive discounted service. Horrible experience. I decided that i had to terminate the relationship because if it took 3 months to receive a design proposal, incomplete, then construction would probably take 8 months, even tho they promised 2 months. It is march 2020 and instead of coming to Manila and enjoy a newly renovated condo, i am now starting over with a new designer, and a new fee. Lots of promises, lots of apologies, lots of frustration.

They seem to be doing well for themselves, what with all the developments and housings happening in the Las Pinas area. It's a wonder how the world around us grows as technology progresses. Like many neighborhood businesses, they bank on their customers' loyalty and specialize in making good on what their customers are looking for. Neighborhood businesses thrive on their customer satisfaction instead of expansion and "building their empire". Their pool of employee also comes from within the area, which is always a good investment. A good place to have your house quoted for renovation and repairs.

One day towards the end of June 2018. We were surprised when the lead man from Blue Circle Builders showed up and said he was asked to conduct an inspection for items or areas that need to be repaired. took him around the house, lead man made a list, repairs promised. He then said he would return the next day. No, he didn't show up. called him and was told that they were still procuring materials. He didn't show up the next day either, or the next week, and the next week after that. He wasn't answering calls. Why are we not surprised; they are unreliable contractors who did a shoddy job. 9 June 2018. 10:44 PM It has been raining for the past three days and just now I discovered bulging and cracks in the paint. I am told it is because moisture has gotten in due possibly due to a crack in the wall. The second floor balcony is leaking even more now into the eaves above our front door. calls to this contractor early this week were unanswered. Please forgive the indulgence. I will continue to update this post until he is able to man up and reach out himself. Nothing has been repaired. This just in.. Just had a short downpour and already we are discovering leaks. As usual, no response to messages. Whenever I have a businesses complaint I always try and settle issues in private via a meeting or sending an email or a message to the owner. Most businesses respond, grateful for the feedback. When a business owner blatantly ignores messages and calls what are clients left to do? Blue Circle Builders was hired by us in April of 2016 to construct our house. We made a down payment immediately upon release of the bank loan expecting the project to start in May. We found out after our first meeting as clients that they will start construction in July 2016, they had our down payment for three months before they started construction. I ignored this RED FLAG because the owner's wife was an acquaintance and accepted what he said in good faith thinking he was an honest and truthful and trustworthy person. Trusting him was the biggest mistake we made. Not having a penalty clause or a retention was the second. Long story short we were forced to accept a turn over in 18 months even if there were still a number of back jobs including hauling of debris. We were supplying the materials ourselves for the last six months out of pocket because if we did not, the no construction work could be done. He told us he lacked the funds to cover it. The contractor has even asked for advances for labor. We have advanced about 1 million pesos to him for materials and labor. He has repeatedly put the blame for the delay on us stating that we were not paying him for work completed?! What exactly did he think those materials advances were for? We hired a contractor because we did not want the stress of overseeing the project ourselves. We have had to be on site almost every day since September 2017 just to make sure things were getting done. This contractor is quick to put blame on others, clients and employees both, and never on himself. He has not admitted or owned up to any wrongdoing. He is hardly on site except when he needs to collect payment or ask for advances. All of this is documented in email messages, sms, FB Messenger, and Viber and is witnessed. To date he has not completed back jobs, left debris for us to haul ourselves, and even left roof vents exposed to rain. Still no replies to calls or messages. I am writing this post for others to BE AWARE. When you hire a contractor please do not make the same mistakes we did.
