Went to Waterfront in Matagorda for lunch instead. Really nice, but not Fat Grass. Upon returning to retrieve our SUV from in front of Fat Grass, we notice that, lo and behold, they are opening for evening service. Felt like walking over and asking why their website fibbed to us, but foot hurting from recent surgery, so just traveled on to my parents house for drinks and the Kentucky Derby.... Therefore, not really a review; just a comment on the lackadaisical attitude of management I've come to expect from lesser establishments these days regarding treatment of "valued" customers... We decided to try Alex's Kitchen as we had never been there! First, you wouldn't know from the outside but it is beautiful and elegant inside. We were so surprised. The owners son, Juan, took care of us that day. He was absolutely a delightful person and he took care of our every need. As you can see in the pictures, the food did not disappoint!!
