As a parent of two current El Diamante High School students, I feel compelled to speak out against the racist Jeffery Hohne and the unconcerned Administrative officials' at Visalia Unified School District. The time has come for our silence to be broken because, as a parent, I can no longer tolerate the violation of students' and staff's rights.
The link provided is the VUSD Board meeting webcast. With over 5k of signatures and ten grievances have been filed is not enough for VUSD to remove this racist deviant tyrant. The school board dares to demand that students show "proof" of Jeffery Hohnes' destructive behavior. After you read this, ask yourself, as a parent, would you be comfortable with your child going head to head with someone like Jeffery Hohne? Anyone who can help, please join the meeting and rid us all of this monster we call Principle Hohne.

Racism, sexism, and classism were not only excused but also fostered by the current principal, Jeffery Hohne, and his administration lackeys at El Diamante High School. When the Visalia Times-Delta compared El Diamante High School to Jim Crow, they hit the nail on the head. The environment is prejudice and toxic, as racist students and staff feel empowered in displaying intolerable acts of hate toward both teachers of color, LGBTQ+ students, and/or students of color. Those racist students' empowerment is a direct result of Jeffery Hohne and his administration of lazy bigots. Hohne has neglected to resolve the complaints of numerous students of color and concerned parents. Hohne has urged for students of color to be heavily policed with the hopes that they would be expelled from his intolerant Jim Crow era dominated school site. Jeffery Hohne has MANY grievances filed against him by both white administration and teaching staff of color. As of June 10th, 2020, Jeffery Hohne has a petition asking for his removal created by his student with almost 5k signatures. Unfortunately, the system of tenure appears to support white supremacists, like Jeffery Hohne, by protecting them with a slew of rights that inhibit his punishment.
To make matters worse, Jeffery Hohne has VUSD elected Officials in his back pocket ensure that his racist dictatorship remains. Jeffery Hohne has moved from numerous school sites, bouncing back and forth between school and VUSDs' main administration office. With no avail, School administration and teaching staff have begged for assistance from the current Superintendent Tamara Ravalín,(559) 730-7522 and Dedi Somavia, Assistant Superintendent, (559)730-7752. It seems that the public paid servants of VUSD are more concerned with maintaining their six-figure salaries than they are concerned with the duty of keeping students and staff safe from predators like Jeffery Hohne. It is time to demand the permanent removal of Jeffery Hohne as an employee of the Visalia Unified School District.
