    Cafecito

Make sure to visit this delicious Salvadorian/Cuban spot if you're in the area. Every time I visit it's kept incredibly clean & the tables that are dirty aren't left for long. Service is always spot on & the food is even better. There are plenty of specials to choose from on the menu so be sure to take a thorough look, I'm sure you'll find something delicious to enjoy. I love their Cuban sandwiches & ham croquettes; you can't get more authentic than here. They also have a delicious breakfast platter that's a great bang for your buck. The cafe con leche & Cuban toast that come with it are mouth watering. I can say (after plenty of research) they serve one of the best cafecito's you can find. The food is always sent out in a timely manner so you know it's fresh every time. I've been coming here for years now & it never disappoints. The very few times there's ever been issues, it gets resolved right away & without a problem. The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes you get.

A real hole in the wall! Right next to Publix. When you walk in you can choose your table and sit right down. They quickly greet you with the menu and silverware. The menu is full of great options. Very cheap compared to what some places are charging. We had the Super Antojito Cuscatleco which is HUGEEEEE!!!! Omg I think 4 people can easily it out of there. It has pupusas, chicharrones, yuca, carne asada. You can't go wrong! It has all the goodies. Really good food. Everything tasted very fresh and the waitress was constantly coming around and checking up on all the tables. Definitely a great place to check out

This place was recommended online so we decided to give it a try. Plus we were craving pupusas. We started with the maracuya juice which was refreshing. Not as strong as other places. This one actually was pleasant to drink. We followed by ordering the Super Antojito Cuscatleco. It's basically a sampler. Grilled steak, pupusa, refried bean, fried pork, nachos, green plantain, fried cheese, spanish sausage, pico de gallo, Salvadorian Cream, sweet plantain and fried yucca. It was about 22 dollars but the portion is huge. I saw three people can easily share this. For sure our cravings were satisfied. Everyone was super nice and humble. Will definitely come back to try other items from the menu.

Enjoying my colada while waiting to get a cheese pupusa -- it also comes with cabbage.

Total comfort food zone! Sandra took care of me and was amicable. The place was packed but I was still able to snag a seat to enjoy myself some bean pupusa and espresso. This is right by Publix -- you might miss it at first because it's a small area snuck in a corner. It's not quiet, but not very loud enough to interrupt your hearing if you converse with someone next to you. I haven't tried the soup or bowls yet, but I'm looking forward to them next time!

I've been eating at this Salvadorian restaurant for a while and customer service is okay, depending on who is on shift of the servers. The food is good, and the atmosphere is quiet. The prices are good Overall experience is good many dishes to choose from and also they serve breakfast.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat for breakfast! There was open seating and the restaurant was initially empty, but that slowly started to change. We were quickly greeted with a smile and a "buenos Dias" and fast seating! Took a bit to get our order, but that was okay because the food was fresh and hot! Ordered a breakfast burrito and it was delicious! Eggs were cooked well and plenty of bacon inside! My friend ordered an empanada, steak and eggs and it was delicious as I had a small portion of the empanada! Restaurant was clean and decorated for Valentine's Day. Prices were fairly low and portion sizes were decent. Will definitely come again and try lunch or dinner

This is a place that if you blink while passing it, you will for sure miss it. I have gotten food to-go from here many times but this was the first time I actually came to sit down. The location is insanely clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. I decided to get one of their lunch specials, so I decided to choose the shredded pork and it came with two sides, which I asked for white rice and black beans. They also have saffron rice as well as red beans and a handful of other sides as well. The pork was the most tender and marinated pork I have had in a very decent amount of time and the temperature was very hot, which is great because it shows the pork was cooked fresh and served very quickly. The beans had amazing flavor and when mixed with the rice, brings it to another level! For the price of only eight dollars, it is hard to not justify getting it because the amount of pork it came with was crazy! The service was a little slow but I didn't mind because they were busy and the food I ended up getting was very fresh and crazy hot, I really can not wait to come back again and try some of their other food as well!

I just got done doing something for my job and decided to grab a bite to eat walking in it smells amazing walked in at 3:45 very small place just got my menu and ordered a sprite sprite comes in a can poured in glass original opening the menu it's fricking huge I'm getting a tuna sandwhich today the utensils are wrapped in plastic and the table is very very clean I got fried yuca on the side and bread and butter for a appetizer the sprite is good just sprite the bread arrived it's 3 pieces the bread is good just like a snack kinda needs more butter but I enjoy it I got my tuna sandwhich in Cuban bread also the bread is very soft and abit fluffy and crunchy I love it I smell a distant either fish or tuna smell from the kitchen I'm hungry!! I placed my order at 3:47 very quick service the employees are now doing alot of cleaning and on the bar there's a cleaning chemical bottle there abit concerning I wouldn't put that infront of customers very attentive employees 2 customers infront of me just left and immediately cleaned the table and took my bread basket it's 6 minutes so far a big family walked in uh oh I'm very excited for some food and tuna I love tuna food just came at 3:55 good time smells amazing can't wait to dig in trying the Yuca first AMAZING CRUNCH greatly salted VERY HOT PHEW I'll try the yellow sauce with it it's like a very very nice honey mustard I like it abit tart mustardy the tuna sandwhich is pretty good a basic sandwhich good tuna a tomato and lettuce not the best tastes like a Subway sub but feeds my tuna addiction the yellow sauce is very good just added black pepper the sandwhich gets fairly boring without seasoning jeez I'm dipping it in the yellow sauce it makes it way better the Cuban bread is hurting the roof of my mouth abit ow the sandwhich needs cheese like Subway does and it'd be amazing was really not a good sandwhich was warm and left that fishy taste in my mouth I'm finished now time to pay should be like 15-20 bucks I'd assume my sandwhich was 9 dollars on the menu I'm just waiting for the check now she took my dishes totals 14:07 I left a 4 dollar tip because the waitresses were very nice decent meal but not good and enjoyable I'd love to give this a 4 but jeez that sandwhich man the sauce and yuca was absolutely amazing only spectacular but cmon and the sandwhich was warm while eating it very weird I do suggest though give it a try heading back home my mouth is actively in pain ow (the inside is very small just tables no booths or anything so you stand out a little too much) (This review was written entirely in Chronological order of my full experience)

    Beef soup with rice
    Andrea B.

Stopped into this small Salvadoran/Cuban restaurant for a quick lunch. I'm a big fan of Salvadoran beef soup. It usually comes loaded with beef, a small piece of corn on the cob, potatoes, carrots, and yuca and served with rice and a tortilla on the side. This soup here was delicious but the rice was just ok. I also ordered a couple of pupusas (tortillas filled with pork, beans or cheese) to take home, and they were very good. They were pretty busy for 3:00 in the afternoon and they had a steady number of people coming in to pick up and order takeout. I noticed they had a nice lunch menu for during the week so I'm definitely going to cnn her back for that. Service was great.

My favorite local spot. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Eat in or carry out, the food is fire and fresh ! My go to meal is a steak baleada and a cheese pupusa. My boyfriend is obsessed with the cortadito with sugar. (Pictured here) every single server is nice and willing to go the extra mile to provide great service and a memorable experience. I have 0 complaints. Also super clean.

How can something this simple hit this hard?…read more At Pupusa Time, I'm genuinely at a loss for words--and that doesn't happen often. The space? No frills. The menu? Straightforward. But the food? Completely out of this world. Let's talk pupusas. At their core, it's just a corn tortilla stuffed with cheese. That's it. And yet somehow, it delivers more satisfaction than dishes ten times as complicated. Yes, they offer the classics--beans, chicharrón, the revuelta--but don't overthink it. The roasted garlic (ajo asado) pupusa is the move. Full stop. My first visit lined up with the Artemis mission, and honestly, that feels appropriate. The cheese pull stretches like it's trying to reach the moon, and I'm not convinced that cheese was made on this planet. It's rich, perfectly melted, and borderline absurd in the best way. And then there's the curtido--that bright, tangy slaw that cuts through everything with just enough funk and crunch to keep you grounded... or maybe not. Because paired with that pupusa, you're floating. There are very few handheld foods on Earth that can compete with this. Make the trip. Order the roasted garlic. Thank me when you land back on Earth.

We ordered takeout and the container alone told me I was in good hands: warm, generously stuffed pupusas wrapped with care like the precious cargo they are. The masa was perfectly cooked--soft with just the right crisp on the outside--and the fillings were flavorful, melty, and comforting in that this tastes like someone's abuela made it kind of way. And let's talk about the supporting cast. The curtido? Crunchy, tangy, and refreshing. The salsa roja? Balanced, savory, and not shy about flavor. Add a little kick if you want--everything plays its role beautifully. Even the jalapeño made an appearance like, "I'm here if you're brave." This is the kind of spot where you don't need frills or fancy plating. You need good food, done right, and Pupusas Time nails it. Simple menu, big flavors, and portions that make you feel like you got hugged by your takeout bag. Highly recommend for a casual dinner, comfort-food cravings, or when you want to remind yourself why hole-in-the-wall gems are undefeated. I'll absolutely be back--hungry and unapologetic.

Las porciones son absurdamente buenas. No sales lleno... sales derrotado. Y lo mejor: no solo sirven comida de El Salvador, sino que también hay sabores de Nicaragua, así que básicamente hice turismo gastronómico sin comprar boleto de avión.
