Have come by a few times to pick up bean and cheese pupusas, pastelitos de pollo, and their plátanos plate; quality is consistent and my order is always ready within 25 minutes. The pupusas are HUGE, very cheesy and the ratio of filling to masa is perfect. The salsa and curtido could use a bit more salt, but I still find them to be very traditional and tasty. The pastelitos are full of juicy chicken, and I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered the plátanos plate and saw how full of plátanos it was. Overall this is definitely my new pupusa place; I'd like to continue trying more of my Salvi favorites and make my way through the menu! Will be back for sure. read more

Decided to try a new (to us) restaurant in the area and this place hit the spot. The options are great, however we stuck to Pupusas only this time. A nice and welcoming restaurant with great takeout options. The service was great, the food took a bit- but it was 100% worth the wait. These are some filled pupusas with two different salsas. The pupusas, although seemed a little pricier than our regular place, almost $5 a pupusa (Rice dough is the way to go) after receiving them, the price is more than reasonable. The pupusas are huge and extremely well stuffed. We ordered Revuelta con Jalapeño ( beans, pork, cheese and jalapeno) and an order of Plátano Frito. The plate for Plátano Frito had sooooo many fried plantains, it was a pleasant surprise, most places only put like 6 pieces for $10, but not here, this one was packed! At one point, I went up to the front counter to ask about our food. They said it was coming soon. We got our food about 5 minutes after that. The good news is that everything was delicious. The pupusas were super-pillowy and flavorful. Of all the dishes we ordered, our favorite was the pork tamal. It was succulent and moist. Just went for the first time this week and I had the bean and cheese pupusa. To be honest I first thought they were a little over priced but when I took them home and saw what I got I was truly impressed on the portion size and how they were filled. The taste was honestly pretty amazing in my opinion with plenty of cabbage and salsa. I will absolutely go back to try other things from their menu and I will be recommending this place to friends and family. Very pleased to see more local Hispanic food spots opening up.
