It was happy hour and they have 2 for 1. I ordered a mojito. The mojito came out with no mint. It tasted like lime juice with ice. It was green but I think they put food coloring or maybe some sort of green mixer. I drank about 1/4 of it and stopped. Worst mojito I've ever had. My brother in law had a vodka Collins. He didn't really like his either. We figured since both our drinks are 2 for 1 we wouldn't get our second drink and it would count as two. Nope they wouldn't allow. We didnt finish our first drinks and there was no way we were ordering another. My wife and sister enjoyed their wine. We shared a pizza and it was decent. We asked for water and the waiter brought out 4 bottles of water we had to buy. Every other restaurant or bar here has always brought out water without us asking. 3 wines and 2 horrible "liquor" drinks plus a small pizza was $90 US. Not worth it. Service overall was bad. When we were paying i left a small tip on purpose because the service was bad. It was around 8-9% The waiter comes over and says it's mandatory to tip 10%. Who does this? He is lucky he even got that. So I hand him a handful of coin pesos I had in my pocket and I leave. DO NOT GO HERE! There are so many better places in the area.

My legs had no strength and I was just recovering from a bout of the flu, so I decided that to make the walk all day wasn't happening. However, I was hungry and needed something in my stomach. I happened across a bustling cafe and it just seemed right. The smell of the coffee, even though I am not a coffee drinker, reeled me in. I sat at the bar beside someone sketching passersby outside, with postres right on display in front of me INCHES, lol. Although bustling, the turnover of customers was amazing and yet all customers had their chance to get what they wanted- just amazingly packed on an early Saturday morning! Almost every type of coffee and postre available. Honestly, just a great place to hang out. Carrying a variety of Italian-based coffees, and claiming to be an Italian influenced cafe, the menu had a very wide selection of choices, but I am not sure I sensed an Italian influence. . This is a great stop, hectic and busy, but if I lived closer, I could see myself stopping in, the noise level was high as at times you just sense a assembly line of individuals coming in and out, but the cost was not unreasonable at all, the eggs I ordered hit the spot, and the staff was attentive to me despite the numbers in the restaurant.

Tables and chairs are small and they are placed very closely together so if feels smaller than it really is. I ordered eggs and chorizo with some bread and coffee, they weren't bad but I was expecting something a lot more tasty in Mexico. Our waitress was really nice as was most people in Mexico, they also offer fresh squeezed orange juice, that it is actually made to order, I sat right in front of the juicer so I can attest to the veracity of this. Overall it was an OK place we had much better food later on our trip, but prices cannot be beat and the OJ of course is amazing
