Hidden gem! I have been coming to El Chymal for over 10 -15years. The asada is tasty and my favorite is their chicken. Both are perfectly seasoned! I get their ceviche on lazy days- I love it! Love that it's a tiny store but has everything you need. Meats, soft drinks, milk, eggs, produce, tortillas, spices, canned goods, random mexican items, chips, fresh salsa, guac, cheese--The prices are fair and it's family owned. I found this place because of my parents. They bought some red chili from here and I was hooked. It is spicy but just so good you cannot stop eating it. We ordered some marinated chicken, Agujas (beef short ribs), some Ranchera Preparada (marinated) and some shrimp ceviche. The agujas, and chicken were outstanding. The shrimp ceviche was amazing.
