All cooked way too dry. The only thing good was their brandy cream as dessert. I would not recommend that place for more than beer and finger food.

Service could have been a bit more attentive but in comparison to other restaurants we've experienced in Germany this week, it was great. Beef with garlic, which was served with two potatoes in a tangy sauce was excellent. Dates wrapped in bacon, which we ordered a second time. Shrimp in garlic. Grilled peppers (my favorite). Manchego cheese was a good portion and served with apple slices. Note that they translate their Spanish menu into German. They do not have an English menu, so bring your Google Translate and you'll be fine. Lots of very good food, not terribly expensive. We had fun. [Review 12062 overall, 1845 of 2019.]

The tapas we shared were luscious grilled squid, shrimp gambas, albondigas in tomato sauce. All wonderful. Two paellas. One black squid ink with shrimps, and one yellow. Pretty much the same flavor and very bland. Not crunchy. Not the best paella I've had, but a very authentic place in the heart of Germany. Overall 4.5 stars.

It's cosy, warm, one these places people call 'my bar'. Food is average, may be even below average. The place is not too clean ether. Very very casual. Competition is hard: there are 5 or 6 cafes in a row next to each other. So why did I choose it again? Because it is so relaxed, unpretensious and easy, that it attracts people who are exactly the same: relaxed, unpretesious and easy. And it's just nice! Verdict: it's nothing special, but somehow i choose it again and agin when i'm in Altona. Need to try something else.
