The food was delicious but the service was absolutely horrible. We had to find another waiter to to get us a to go box because our waitress disappeared for 30 minutes then we waited another few minutes to see if our waitress would come so we could get our bill and she never showed up so we had the same waiter get our bill and he apologized and we tried to give him a tip and he said no it's okay. My boyfriend said we're never going back but I'm willing to give another try. read more

I had a very pleasant time at this establishment! I mean it was smack dab ready for any person who is ready for the friendly environment! The food gives me a sense of freshness and ingenuity to come back for more. Even the older gentleman in the bathroom said while I was at the urinal, "Is there room for one more?!" Food was horrible. Ordered the shrimp fajitas and came out in less than 2 minutes. Shrimp had no flavor and was rubbery. They don't have an actual bartender and the waiter definitely didn't know how to make a long island ice tea. Everything was horrible. I will never go back. read more

Sides are excellent and huge. Chile relleno was deliciously over filled with a slightly sweet cheese loaded inside the pepper covered perfectly with a sauce, beef and more cheese. Red sauce, not my favorite, so my tamale was covered in a tasty light heat of their verde sauce which brought my tamale up to the next level. Verde sauce is so good, the fire roasted tomatillos with a spritz of fresh lime is definitely delicious. Chips were hot, fresh and tasty. The mild sauce is good. they have a hotter sauce if you ask. They are doing a good job limiting capacity, cleaning and spacing everyone. read more

If I could it would be 0 stars. Was in there on Black Friday and I understand it may have not been there A team but there food is worse than my mother in laws cooking. The only thing with flavor was the sour cream. I got the fajitas with shrimp chicken and steak. No flavor on anything. I reach for the salt shaker..... empty. I wonder why the salt shaker is empty. No damn flavor. This might be fine for the "white" crowd but god it's terrible. They wouldnt make a change to some simple enchiladas. Guess they got them pre made and ready for the microwave. Micheladas sucked. SuCKED. If u like Authentic Mexican I suggest go elsewhere. This would be my first review because how terrible it was. Sorry. read more

Overall, I have to say I was impressed with the overall experience which includes: food, staff, and service. On a late Monday night, my family and I were not wanting to cook, so between Miguel's and El Camino's we went with this place. The minute we walked in, we were immediately seated and drink order taken. Next up, chips and salsa were brought to our table. The salsa was very fresh and had great flavor to it. Monday is $1 margarita night and & $1 queso. We went with an order of queso, it was okay. A little on the thin side, but hey for a buck couldn't really complain. We then proceeded to order our entrées. Within about 15-20min our food was prepped, cooked, and brought out. I ordered the chili con carne with rice and beans. For starters, the beans were absolutely delicious, the meat had tons of flavor and was tender. I'm not the biggest fan of rice but it still paired well with my dish. I will definitely be returning and look forward to trying out some of the other daily specials!! I definitely recommend if in the area and hungry for Mexican food. read more

Surprisingly good Mexican food restaurant in Brandenburg. The place is large to hold big groups, our waiter was friendly and fast, the food was delicious and arrived quickly after we order. My husband ordered Margaritas and they were good. They had live music on Friday which I'm not sure if is a weekly occurrence. I was in this restaurant on a Wednesday night and it was surprisingly crowded. I got the Guadalajara which is a chicken burrito and chicken enchilada. It was very good. Everyone in our group of 4 enjoyed their meal. I would have given this restaurant a 4 star rating but the service was slow because they had too many tables assigned to each of their wait staff. Options in the area are limited, but I can say are meal here was a-ok. Service was decent, we had a larger party... 3 kids, five adults. I was surprised and delighted to see cerviche (10.95) on the menu. It was not bad, but surprising lack of lemon or lime favor, so I asked for extra and added my own,... a little too many spicy peppers for me but still seemed good and fresh. mostly everyone seemed pleased with their meal. Shrimp asada, was popular. My dad's chipolte dish tasted a little too much like cayenne. The boys loved their cheese pizza option, I thought it was hilarious that it came with fries, but the fries were actually really good. The decor in here was really lively, I loved all the carved chairs and wall decor. A little disappointed with the sopapillas, they were more like fried cinnamon sugar flour tortillas, kinda weird. read more

Below my expectation on service, had a long wait time on getting our order taken and getting the check. Funny waiters tho! The Menu is Huge!! Like a book! Food was fair. My Guacamole was pretty good, but my chicken salad was more chicken than salad. Not to mention the peppers where cut really thick and the tomato was just a hamburger slice cut in half. The chicken itself was really good, seasoned and cooked really well. Atmosphere was authentic, but almost too much.. But that's just me. Will likely return to try out the bar (cuz I enjoy a good margarita) but from the looks of the drink menu, didn't see anything special. But with the right friends we'll make it fun. read more

We have eaten here about twice month for the past year. The menu is large; however, we usually get the chicken fajitas double. There is enough to satisfy both my husband and myself--and allow us to take home enough for a couple of small lunches. Chips and salsa are complimentary; about half the time, we order a medium queso. Decor is nice and colorful. Food seems authenic with a lot of spice and the staff was friendly. I wasn't unhappy with our meal but it wasn't anything I would tell all my friends they would have to try it. For our little town of Brandenburg I would say its one of the better places to eat. read more

The food here is very good. My favorite is the flan even though at most restaurants I don't like it. The last 3 visits they've been out of it, but perhaps 4 th time is the charm lol. I usually get the quesedilla ahogada topped with cilantro and mixed vegetables instead of rice and it's delicious and big enough for my 10 year old son and I to share. good food. thought it was really nice atmosphere. but the chip boy with red hair gave me and my 3 kids the worst service i've ever received at a restaurant. he screamed at me to call him fire crouch and when my kids started crying and i refused to call him such obscene word he took my child by the throat and threw him against and called him a 'bad dog'. after i politely asked for the manager he spit on me and the chips then sat down and chatted with us for 10 minutes acting like the whole thing never happened. he then dumbed his spotty salsa on my little baby girls head then called her a dumbass. she is 3 years old and he looked to be about 16, 17. when we tried to leave he blocked the door and punched me so hard in my nose, it broke. when i sent him the hospital bill he then called the cops on me for jay walking. other than that we had a really good time. definitely coming back again soon! read more

The last several times we have been to El Camino's we have had the worst service ever, and decided we will not be back. The food is wonderful, but the service is just not worth it. We will try out Miguel's again down the road. read more

Worst service EVER! In town to visit relatives. Decided to give El Caminos a try. We stood at the hostess stand for several minutes while various employees came to look at the seating chart. No greeting, no, "Someone will be with you soon" no acknowledgement of our very existence. Finally a young lady asked us, "How Many?" I replied "two". She said there was a table back by the bar and I said that was fine. Our server came and took our order. I asked for napkins which only materialized after I asked another employee for them. Another employee brought us chips and salsa. Our server returned to deliver our "guacamole"-Smashed up avocados is NOT guacamole-and proceeded to go hang out with a guy sitting at a booth to my right. Yet another employee delivered our dinner. The food was a 2 on a 1-10 scale. My ceviche was warm and mostly chopped up purple onions. My husbands tacos were mostly onions as well. Discounting the onion flavor, the rest of the food was bland at best. Our server was apparently done visiting with the gentleman in the booth and had disappeared. We got tired of waiting for her to bring our check so I went to the cash register and explained. The hostess went in search of her and couldn't find her either! She finally came up, handed me our check and tried to make casual chit-chat. Not happening. Save your time and money-SO not worth the irritation. read more
