Shitty ass service! How 4 tacos and a water equal 22.82 blows my mind! At first buddy told me $20 then it came out to 22.82. Then my card debit only had 22.52 on there apparently and the man tried to say I didn't pay when the machine said .30 difference. Meanwhile my bank notification said I was charged and I showed him. don't think he can read much English or speak much. They're lucky I'm across the street for a job and had no where else to go. Great tacos!! I'm really picky when it comes to Al Pastor (pork) tacos but this is one of the few places that I really like in the area. Their chorizo, and asada(steak) tacos are also really great! They have good agua de horchata which a lot of places have difficulty getting right. Their staff is very nice. There is outdoor and indoor seating. Credit cards are accepted when spending greater than $10. They also have taco Tuesday where most tacos are $1, but they are small than the regular ones. read more

Hello, this place is just a bad experience. the cook is a good guy, however, every time I go there, they overcharge me, or get my order wrong, or they give my food to somebody else and have to stay there more time while being on lunch and IF YOY DARE to ask for the money back they threaten you with saying they are calling the cops. terrible place. oh if you pay with card, they will charge you $5 extra. terrible place such a pad experience. Food is not bad but way over priced compared to other places that give you way more food for less money. My complaint is the Tostadas, they lack in everyway, they take the shell and just put a pinch of whatever meat and toppings, very small, they do not cover the entire shell and pile it high like El Famous Burrito. You can actually see bare parts of the shell, actually a lot of the shell is bare not completely covered, there is more shell then toppings and charge you $12 for the 2 Tostada special with rice and beans. If you get this at El Famous the price is less and just 1 of there Tostadas will fill you up. I would say you would have to eat 4 of these to be as full as you would from eating One at El Famous. read more

Nope. Not impressed. Not one iota. I really don't like sacrificing quantity for quality. I prefer a hearty helping. But if I DO have to sacrifice quantity, then the quality better be exceptional. This place offered neither. $7 for a burrito the size of a burrito supreme? And not even as tasty. $9 for 3 tacos beans & rice? Those prices are extremely high for what they offer. Those are almost sit down restaurant prices. Meat was fatty and loaded with gristle. Bland with no spice or seasoning and obviously portions leaving me wanting more... But more from someplace else. Not from here. Service wasn't horrible. But it wasn't good either. No "Hello how are you". No "Thank you for coming in". No "Thank you for your business"... One man running the place by himself. Not personable. I'm glad it wasn't busy cuz then I would've REALLY been pi$$ed when I got home and took the first bite. I feel very sorry for the gentleman that came in right after I did. Who had to wait 20 minutes before the guy even took his order. But it's evident to me now WHY this place wasn't busy. Because it s*cks! Once again, I prefer Puerto Acapulco on 120 and 45... I don't know why I do this. I find a Mexican restaurant that I'm very pleased with and is always consistent like Puerto Acapulco, and then I insist on trying other Mexican fare hoping/thinking I'll find something better. My family stumbled in here because we were headed to the liquor store next door honestly. While it doesn't quite compare to my Arizona Mexican food, it really was good. We went back about a week later. So far everything has tasted good but the tacos are where it's at. And the hot sauce they throw in the bag is amazing. I have had quite a few things off of their menu and feel qualified to say that they do a pretty good job with everything I have had. I have never had any experiences like the reviewer below about them "just not caring". Quite the opposite actually. My order has always been correct and cooked to order. I have no problem understanding anyone either. I never felt their prices were unfairly high either. We are talking about a local small business, people. Pony up the few extra quarters. If you really gotta have cheap 'Mexican' food- go to Taco Bell. Just don't think too hard about where that meat came from..... I say I am a fan of this place. It's a greasy spoon- not fine dining. All the food I've had here is very good. I love how it is seasoned. I highly reccomend anything with their steak or barbacoa. The only reason I give then 4 stars instead of 5 is because the food does seem a bit overpriced, and the desserts they serve from michoacana seemed a bit old, or just way too frozen. This a great place for lunch. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Hispanic dishes as my mom is Mexican and cooks old school style. I must say this is a great alternative that allows a break from the usual fast food chains. The parking lot is big, so always space to park, and yes there isn't alot of sitting space, but they do have outside tables, which is really nice now that it is warming up. Really good Mexican food, very fresh and tasty. When I went today, there was a line out the door and many people inside. The Dawg House was never that popular and I really think they classed up that strip mall. The burritos were huge, and more than enough for one person, and their guacamole was really really fresh. Much better than the Tacos El Norte, and far better service. A lot of the people where I work are now calling in orders and going to pick them up. You can't miss this spot, it's a gem in a long line of duds at that location. When they first opened they had a pretty decent steak taco. Went back about a few days ago and the taco was stale. The quality of the steak changed. I don"t know if they changed the meat but... it was chewy and you can tell that it wasnt trimmed well. It was full of nerves. Felt like I got left overs. I was really disappointed. I didn't think this hole in the wall place with ugly interior would be so good! I never ate inside but I usually do a run in and order and get booze next door. The spicy pork is the best! My lady once had a horrible lengua taco so I have to doc this lil gem a star. Always seems when I go there is no one there and I've been about a half dozen times. We've ordered from there several times. It's real hit and miss. It's like many Asian restaurants where you really question what you are ordering because they don't speak understandable English. Then you get your order, and more than half the time, it's all wrong. So you call to ask what happened, and once again, you can't understand a word they are saying. And it's obvious they really don't care. "Have a nice day." Waste of money, though it did have promise. They just don't care enough. This place is awesome. I live in the apartments behind the restaurant and I go here all the time. It's family owned and operated. It's like going over to so someone's house and having them cook for you. I go here often when I don't want to cook, or I'm just in the mood for some really good Mexican food. I've never been disappointed. They give you lots of food too. I'm really happy that it's a small restaurant, that's family owned, and is not a huge food chain. The food tastes great and is cooked right in front of you. They have a nice patio too. This is a first generation family owned restaurant. They've been here for about year now.
