HUGE Shrimp - Bacon-Wrapped w/ Cheese and topped with a delicious sauce and bell peppers
    Savannah R.

I visited El Brujo on Monday, 1/23/23, during dinner time. Food: For the appetizers, I tried the different flavors of the oysters: Natural, Rockefeller, and Garlic & Butter. The oysters were super fresh and each one tasted delicious. I also ordered five of the HUGE Shrimp that was bacon-wrapped with cheese and topped with a delicious sauce and bell peppers. It was a special of the restaurant, offered for 600 pesos. It was a really good deal for each shrimp to be almost as big as my hand. Service: The staff members were so sweet and attentive. Ambiance: At my table, I had a beautiful ocean view. It was breathtaking. El Brujo's food is super delicious and the ambiance is beyond amazing. I recommend coming here.

Beautiful view of the beach and fresh seafood mixed with huge drinks is a win in my book!

Wonderful dinner on the terrace. Service was super. We ordered the coconut shrimp and it was super. Loved the sweet sauce that it came with. Terrific margaritas but the best part was the view of the sunset.

This is a special place. The food was amazing and the service top notch. We ad the tortilla soup, ceviche, seafood enchiladas, and margaritas. All were top notch and this is a must visit location.

Great spot right on the beach. Food was so good and portions were good. Service was a little slow but the view and prices more than made up for it.

There are not enough words to describe this most amazing restaurant. To begin with the view is irreplaceable. Sitting at a table and looking at the waves roaring in brings calmness and beauty to any one's day. On to the impeccable service. A big shout out goes to Enrique for his attentiveness during this perfect evening. He was very accommodating and welcoming. I am at a lost to describe how delicious the lobster, the seafood tower and the shrimp cocktails were on this wonderful dining experience. This place never disappoints.

Beautiful outdoor ambience on the beach with a head on view of the ocean and wonderful breezes. Excellent fajitas; particularly the Azteca Molcajete version served in a volcanic pot with a wonderful sauce and mixed grill of chicken, beef and shrimp. Strong margaritas; one will make your head spin! Great, friendly service by Luis!

One of the better restaurants in Bucerias. I make sure to go there at least once when I'm down there which is several times a year.

What a gem!…read more Autentico cuisine that goes back to the roots of mexican cooking, this was not what we expected to find on our way to Bucerias for groceries after our sunset surf sesh. And I say that in the most positive way! They offer seafood, fresh and locally caught. The meat is from the adjacent town as well, and there are vegetarian and vegan options. The prices were less than what you'll pay for the obnoxious haggling sea-side restaurants and you have an amazing ocean view from up above. We started with two appetizers: the 5 corn empanadas and aguachile verde. I ate the empanadas too fast to give you a visual but the boyfriend took one of the shrimp (aguachile verde). Beautiful presentation, and it tasted better than it looked! How is that possible? He ordered the fresh catch of the day, which was a mahi-mahi. I went out on a limb for the local chicken made into a mole, both delicious as well. so far everything was so good that we sprung for dessert, and opted for the churro with vanilla ice cream. It sounds like a simple dessert, but we knew they would do it better than standand we were not disappointed. Everything was amazing, I cannot say enough superlative things. You'll see the boisterous pink exterior on your left heading from Punta Mita or Sayulita back to Bucerias/PV. Driving from Bucerias, it's on your right and you'll pass it before you see it. Turn back around- we did, and it was a highlight of our trip.

This place no longer exists. We followed the map and walked up the hill but it's gone.read more

It was the afternoon and we didn't really plan on getting anything big. But then we found this little back yard oasis, the huge fan was blowing in my face and it cooled mus down and our appetite could not be contained anymore. So we went off the rails a bit and the husband got a big platter of stuff and I got a big platter of stuff (seafood!). It was all fun and games until it came to pay and we realized that since we hadn't planned on having a big meal, we didn't bring a lot of cash. This place, like many in the area, doesn't accept credit cards, so we were in a bit of a pickle. We tried to get cash at the ATM next door, but it didn't work. So we went through all our pockets and gathered all our pesos... and were still short 2 or 3 in the end. Not even talking about a tip. Enrique was so, so gracious and laughed it off! He told us not to worry about it! We stopped by the next day on our way to Puerto Vallarta to pay our debt and leave a ncice tip, but it was in the early afternoon anbd the place was closed. Sorry, Enrique! We did try! In any case, we will make sure to stop by the next time we're in the area and eat some more of your amazing food and leave a REALLY GOOD tip this time! As for the food: it was very good. Just look at the pictures! Freshest sea food, made with love. Loved it!

Perfect margaritas and u can beat the guacamole! Cheers! This was a walking stop in the…read morevillage .
